Noises were everywhere and most of it was about me.
My classmates were murmuring, and whispering to each other while looking at me.
I rolled my eyes and puffed an air out because I felt nauseous dahil sobrang ingay ni Keisha.
She was sitting beside me while the other two were seated beside her, and I just wanted to cover my ears or shove her mouth with a tissue dahil hindi siya matahimik!
"If you have any questions, ask Loreen. She's smart." She offered-I mean, not really an offering because it sounded like a demand. "Or me. I am smart too." She nodded her head to convince me, or more like herself.
I didn't talk and just let her waste her saliva dahil wala akong energy at hindi ko alam kung saan niya nakukuha yang energy niya.
"So...how did you meet Liam?" She asked-leaning close to me na halos mahalikan niya na ako.
I sighed and quietly rolled my eyes because she's back at it again.
Kanina nya pa 'to tinatanong sa akin pero di ko sya sinasagot.
"Come on! Just tell me! I won't judge you! Duh, Liam is a God!" She shook my shoulder to force me to talk.
I grunted and removed her hands. "He's not my boyfriend." I answered calmly-trying to restrain myself from choking her.
She scoffed. "Liar."
"Stop bothering her, Keisha" Loreen interrupted-peeking her head to glance at me.
"I am not bothering her. I am just asking questions." Keisha pouted.
Plural. Yes, questions.
Millions of them.
And when I did not answer what she wanted to hear, she would ask again or believe the opposite.
"Have lunch with us." She flashed a very bright smile.
I sighed again but I'm glad that she easily changed the topic, or talagang nakakalimutan niya lang ang mga pinag uusapan namin or what she was saying.
I bit the inside of my cheek to think na para bang may plano talaga akong sumama sa kanila.
Liam is just my driver. So, obviously, having lunch with me isn't part of his job.
I looked down at Keisha because she was resting her face above her hand. I pouted my lips because kagabi ko pa talaga iniisip kung anong gagawin ko kapag lunch na dito sa University.
Because as much as I wanted to get these girls out of my sight, I was also scared to be left alone.
Ayaw kong kumain nang mag isa. Mas lalo na at bago palang ako dito dahil ayaw kong mag mukang loser sa first day palang. So I nodded my head and asked, "where?"
"Deep Sea!" She exclaimed with a matching clapping of hands that caught everybody's attention.
"Ms. Sanders." The professor warned-glaring at us.
I moved away from her because I don't want my name to be called too.
But she just chuckled and made a peace sign. "Sorry, prof." She said, and sweetly smiled before looking back at me.
"Not there." Loreen interjected the conversation without taking her eyes off to her notebook because she was taking notes.
Keisha's forehead knotted. "Why not?"
Still busy writing, Loreen rolled her eyes. "Your voice is enough to clog my ears and mind. I don't need Wren to add up."
I heard Mika's quiet chuckle. She was sitting two seats away from me and up until now, she hasn't spoken yet except for the one in the parking lot.
