I went back to my room after Liam and his family left. We had great conversations and I was grateful that my mother didn't embarrass me in front of them.
She just stayed silent and sometimes was laughing with us. Though, we didn't talk to each other.
I sighed and laid down to my bed. I stayed not moving with my mind flying away until my phone beeped.
It was a notification from Instagram.
KeilizSanders started following you.
I clicked her profile and I needed to close my eyes because the pinkiness (if that was even a word) of her account was blinding me.
Everything was pink and glitter!
I just accepted her follow request and followed her back so I can exit her account. But not long after, she messaged me.
@KeilizSanders: Martha is inviting us for a drink😘🍺
I rolled my body around to lay face on the bed.
@KeilizSanders: I followed you on Mika and Loreen's account, btw.
Just like what she said, two consecutive notifications came.
Myui_Mikasha started following you.
B.Loreenie started following you.
I got curious so I clicked on their profiles too. Mika doesn't have many posts. Actually, isa lang ang post niya and it was posted three years ago.
It was a picture of a gun resting on her bed, and it really did make me disturbed.
Jeez, is this even legal?
I left her account and went into Loreen's. She has a lot of posts, mostly paintings and plants.
"Oh, she's a ballerina?" I rhetorically asked, and clicked on her picture where she was wearing a tutu-the dress that ballerinas wear.
My eyes landed on the comment section and it was full of congratulatory messages but she never replied to any.
I scrolled down and saw another picture. I smiled because it was a picture of her and Wren. They looked so young there.
Wren's cheek was pressed against hers with a big smile on his face while she was on the verge of rolling her eyes.
Keisha messaged me again so I exited Loreen's account to read it.
@KeilizSanders: Are you going?
I typed my reply.
@Lewis.Lopez: No.
She saw it right away and I didn't wait for any more seconds for her reply.
@KeilizSanders: I already told them that you are, and we're already on our way to you.
My heart skipped a beat in nervousness upon reading her message that my phone slipped down my hand and a thud echoed in my whole room because I fell down the bed.
They are coming here!? Bawal! Makikita sila ni mommy!
My body hit the ground but I didn't feel any pain. I quickly fixed myself and sat down on the floor with my messy hair para itype ang protest ko.
@Lewis.Lopez: No! Bawal kayong pumunta dito!
I bit my lower lip-hoping that she'll listen kahit na imposible.
It took a couple of seconds before she responded and I quickly read her message.
@KeilizSanders: Too late, we're already at the gate.
