Hindi ko pinansin si Liam pag katapos ng sinabi niya. I just acted like I didn't hear him and immediately went back to my seat-looking outside to avoid his eyes.
Silence swallowed us. I just kept on looking far away and playing with my fingers until the ride ended. He offered his hand to help me go out but I didn't accept it and just walked by his side-observing a distance between us.
I was just looking around with my hands behind my back to admire the colorful lights from the different rides and arcades, but I got bored so I ended up kicking a small stone to distract myself from talking to him. But it didn't last because as soon as I looked up again, a freaking clown suddenly jumped in front-scaring the shit out of me.
Words got stuck in my throat and I couldn't find my own voice. All I could do was to jump up and down with my eyes tightly closed as my heart tightened up in panic until I felt Liam's hand on my arm-pulling me closer to him.
"Hey, hey," He whispered, and then he put his hand on the back of my head kaya mas nagsumiksik ako sa kanya because I felt like having a freaking panic attack. "Hey, breathe." He softly said-caressing my hair but it didn't help calming me down because I could still see the creepy smile of the clown inside my head.
I heard him talking to it calmly but it was evident to his voice that he was a little annoyed, so it apologized repeatedly before I heard its footsteps going away.
"Sandra," He whispered after-trying to pull my head away from his chest but I resisted. "You're still scared of them." He mumbled, and combed my hair using his fingers.
I gripped his shirt due to the mixture of anger and devastation that was rising within me because it was his fault why I became afraid of clowns.
He celebrated his 7th birthday in our mansion in Virdilla and played a prank by asking his birthday clown to chase me.
It was so stupid.
It chased me playfully but I got so scared and almost even drowned because I fell into the pool. So since that day, sobrang natakot na ako sa kanila kahit na sa pictures lang.
"I'm sorry." He uttered.
"You are so stupid." I pushed his chest away but he just chuckled.
He brushed his thumb under my right eye to shed off a tear. "Let's go home?" He asked-smiling softly, and I nodded at him kahit na ferris wheel lang 'yong natry namin.
Gusto ko pa sanang itry 'yong mga ibang rides pero wala na ako sa mood at gusto ko nalang umuwi.
Nevertheless, I still had fun kahit na mamatay-matay na ako dahil sa nerbyos kaya okay na rin.
He held my hand so we went back together in his car to head home. At syempre, sa shotgun seat ako umupo. But as I was settling myself in, may nasipa ako kaya yumuko ako para pulutin kung ano man 'yon.
"Is this mine?" I showed him the cap I picked up from the floor of his car.
It was familiar to me but because I have a lot of stuff, I don't know if it was mine. I just remember wearing it pero hindi ko maalala kung kailan.
"Do you want it?" He asked back, giving me a swift glance.
"So it's not mine?" I put the cap above my head.
"You can have it." He answered, and started the engine so I just shrugged and just like what he said, I kept it.

Monday. Kaya ang ibig sabihin, maririnig ko ulit ang bunganga ni Keisha.
"Sandy!" I shut my eyes tightly dahil kasasabi ko lang sa loob ng utak ko ay andito na agad siya para daldalin ako buong araw.
