I cleared my throat like I wasn't amazed at how Liam looked so good with his glasses on and white lab coat. "Why are you here?" I raised a brow.

"Kuya Lando asked me to pick you up. You're making him get into trouble." He adjusted his glasses. "Get in." He said, and cocked his head sideways. "You in front." He added when I opened the door in the back seat.

"I just opened the door for Isabella." I reasoned out—rolling my eyes.

When Isabella was already settled in, I hopped into the shotgun seat where he wanted me to sit. I mean, my name was already written here so I should be really seated here.

"Where did you go?" I cannot help but to ask—still amazingly looking at him because they don't usually wear lab coats dahil lagi lang silang naka scrub suit as their uniform.

"I attended a medical mission. We went to some secluded places to offer free dental check ups and procedures." He tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. "I went back to the university ten minutes early before your dismissal to pick you up but Mika told me that you went home early." He gave me a side glance. "I thought you were not feeling okay but it turned out that you just went shopping with your friend."

Mas napatitig ako sa kanya tapos ngumiti siya kaya mas sumingkit 'yong mga mata niya. He's weird. Bakit ang daldal niya ngayon? Ganyan ba kapag naka lab coat? Dumadaldal? Dahil kung oo, I do not recommend it.

"I was not feeling okay." I told him—looking away because his smile was making me smile too.

He slowly nodded. "Hmmm... because you turned down Montes?" He smirked. "I liked what I saw. It was like watching a k-drama." The smirk on his lip grew wider. "You should reject the other one too."

My forehead drew a line and I turned my head back at him. "Who? Wolf?" I asked. Because obviously, sino pa ba? Alangan namang si Tonyo, or si Wren? Dahil sila lang ang mga lalaking nakakasama ko? "You know him?" I asked again when he did not answer my first question.

Wolf was studying in a different university kahit na nasa Belladima 'yong kambal niya. But according to my source named Keisha, he also studied in Belladima during high school. So, hindi nga malabo na kilala nila ang isa't isa.

"Yeah, his family and mine are business partners."

Napatango ako dahil hindi na nakakagulat. Maliit lang kasi ang mundo ng mga nasa business. "Do you know that his family own the mall we went?"

He nodded. "Yes. And I bought some stocks there so basically, I also own it." He boastfully said.

Tumango nalang ulit ako dahil hindi na rin ako nagulat na may mga hawak siyang stock dahil parang normal na 'yon kapag pinanganak ka sa business world. Even I hold some stocks in different companies, it was like an investment my parents provided for me.

I laughed silently. "I cannot turn him down." I said, and that instantly caught his attention because his nose wrinkled. "Because he's not courting me. Ang kapal ko naman kung I'll busted him kahit hindi naman siya nanliligaw." I chuckled.

Liam looked at me so I smiled at him kaya napatawa nalang din siya at umiling tapos dumaldal na ulit but I cannot understand a thing because my eyes were getting heavy and sleepy. I got too tired from shopping.

I was just humming and slightly nodding my head to whatever he was saying—trying to pay attention and fight the sleep but I lost. The last thing that I saw before I closed my eyes were his eyes softly staring down at me.

"Sandra," I heard Isabella. She was softly tapping my arm to wake me up.

"Are we home?" I opened just one eye because I wanted to sleep more. Sobra pa akong inaantok.
