Wolf offered me a ride home but I insisted on refusing because I don't know what would happen if we were left alone. I saw how his eyes were sad and by that moment, I just wanted to take back my words. Pero bawal din because I needed to be firm with my decision. I will tell him to just stay friends with me pero hindi din muna sa ngayon dahil ayaw ko muna siyang masaktan ngayon.
I was left with Loreen and the twin because Mika and Keisha already left.
Keisha begged Mika to leave me here in the hope that I'll go with Wolf but that will never happen.
"Thanks, Loreen, Wren." I gave them a little smile and a wave.
"Mag ingat ka sa pag uwi." Wren reminded me, and I just nodded my head before going under the waiting shed because the sky was dark and cloudy.
I took out my phone and searched for someone in my contact that could help me go home safely. And of course, it was Isabella.
I dialed her phone number but she wasn't answering so I irritatedly stomped my foot.
Ano ba ang ginagawa ng babaeng 'to at ayaw sagutin ang tawag ko?
I dialed her phone number again and just like the first one, she didn't answer.
"Oh, please, Isabella." I murmured and bit my lower lip because I was running out of patience.
I was stomping my foot to the ground with my left hand resting on my hip to wait for her to pick up the goddamn call.
"Oh, thank-- What?" I looked at my phone when the automatic voice recording of a woman saying that the person on the other line was out of reach bombarded my eardrum.
I extended my hand outside to see if it was already raining and thankfully, hindi pa naman.
I was thinking of any other way to go home when a white Mercedes Benz stopped in front with the window already rolled down.
I met a pair of glistening glasses.
I rolled my eyes because this was always happening. Tinadhana siguro talagang maging driver ko siya.
"Get in." Liam fixed his glasses using his index finger.
I looked at him and next to the sky.
Maya-maya ay uulan na at mas mahihirapan akong makauwi kaya napabuntong hininga nalang ako.
"Fine." I was heavily stomping my feet on the way to get inside his car so he could see how I didn't like this situation.
"How was your lunch?" He drummed his fingers to the steering wheel.
"It was fantastic. Wolf was fantastic." I blurted out.
"That's nice."
I threw him a silent death glare. That's nice, yan lang ang sasabihin niya?
"I had a fantastic lunch with Lexis as well." Mas nag init ang ulo ko dahil sa sinabi niya. At talagang pangiti-ngiti pa siya.
"Mamatay na nag tanong." I crossed my arms.
Lagi kong naririnig yan kay Jake at Tonyo sa tuwing nag aasaran sila and I didn't know that it would become handy someday.
Liam aggressively turned his head to look at me with his lips parted. I didn't know if he was offended or amazed by my words but I just rolled my eyes at him dahil akala niya ba ay may pake ako sa lunch niya kasama 'yong bruhang kaibigan niya?
