I didn't notice that my birthday is already in two weeks.
I just love seeing him in his white scrub suit while he waits for me in the parking lot.
"Hiii," I tip-toed to hug his neck while he put both of his hands to my waist to support me.
"Tsk, dalawa na sa mga kaibigan ko ang masakit sa mata. Wag mo muna balakin mag boyfriend, Mika, ha?" Loreen teased.
Mika sneered at her while the rest of us laughed.
"Bye, Sandy and Liam!" Keisha said. She waved her hand before they drove away so I smiled and waved my hand as well.
Hindi na ako sumasabay sa kanila sa pag uwi dahil my boyfriend slash driver is convenient. He can drive me wherever I wanna go.
"I'm hungry." I pouted.
"Where do you wanna eat?" He opened the door for me so I went inside the car and waited for him to also get in before answering.
"Naalala mo 'yong café na kinainan natin noon? The one that sells delicious grape pie?" I buckled up my seatbelt.
"White Angel? You want to go there?" He glanced at me.
I smiled and nodded. "Yes."
"Their grape pie is your favorite." He grabbed my hand and kissed it while the other was on the steering wheel.
"Nope." I shook my head. "My favorite is the one your mother always gives me on my birthday whenever you visit before."
"It's the same pie from the same café."
I gasped. "Really!?" He nodded and I gasped once more. "That's why the taste was so familiar! My tastebuds recognized it!"
He chuckled. "Do you want me to steal the recipe so we could make it at home?"
I slapped his arm—chuckling too."That's illegal."
He shrugged. "It will not be if I bought the café."
I laughed at him. "Ang yabang mo."
He glared at me. "I'm not joking. They already told me the price."
"Really? How much?" I asked—looking so interested.
"Eight million, including the recipes. Do you want it?" He parked the car in the mini parking lot of the café.
I shrugged. "I'll ask daddy."
He shrugged too before going out of the car so I followed him. We held hands as we approached the counter to order and excitement quickly filled me when I saw that the table we occupied last time was vacant.
He looked down at me with his brows in a knot because I let go of his hand so I smiled at him and said that I'll just wait at the table. He nodded at me so I already left him and occupied the table. I looked around and my smile grew bigger when my eyes landed on the angel painting.
