How is it possible to be already tired when you just woke up?

Ang bigat-bigat ng buong katawan ko pero kailangan kong tumayo at pumasok dahil kailangan kong bumawi sa mga araw na wala ako, and because I was constantly reminding myself that I shouldn't be affected by the picture dahil walang nakakaalam na ako yun at hindi ko na ulit hahayaan na sirain nun ang buhay ko because my life was already getting okay—I was getting okay.

When I got down from my room, I headed right away to the kitchen to get something to eat for breakfast.

Then I saw my mother with her daughter kaya mas sumama ang loob ko, especially that she doesn't usually get down this early even though she was already awake.

That used to be me—I used to be the reason she got up early to cook breakfast.

Tumalikod nalang ako sa kanila para hindi ko makita 'yong mother-daughter bonding nila and just swallowed the bread without chewing na halos mabulunan at mamatay ako kaya uminom ako nung grape juice na kinuha ko kanina sa ref para hindi ako matuluyan.

When I finished eating, I already prepared myself to leave the kitchen but then halted because I saw a lunch box on the table. My mother was putting some food on it while my sister watched her. They were both smiling—the smile I haven't seen in my mother for months.

It was so genuine—she was happy. I left the room quickly before my eyes could even betray me by taking out tears. Instead, I stood outside the mansion to wait for Liam because he'll be picking me up.

I smiled when I saw his car from afar and waved my hand so he could see where I was.

"Good morning, Mrs. Grapes." He said after rolling down the window on his side. I smiled even more because
he was really the only one who can make me smile despite everything.

"Good morning, Mr. Grapes." I hopped inside his car as he quickly welcomed me with a kiss on the cheek.

"Did you have a good sleep? Did you eat?" He grabbed my hand to kiss next.

"Yep." I said, though my sleep and breakfast wasn't good.

He nodded and was about to drive away but we heard Isabella called my name outside kaya sabay kaming napatingin at nakita siyang nagmamadaling tumatakbo papunta sa amin.

"Sandra!" She knocked on the window on my side so I rolled it down with furrowed brows dahil sure akong wala akong nakalimutan. "Baon mo." She handed me a paper bag but I just stared at it and grew more confused.  "Para may lunch ka." She said with a smile as she shook the paper bag for me to take before taking a step back so we would go, at doon ko lang narealize kung anong ginagawa niya.

"Thank you, Isabella." I smiled, and she nodded.

I closed the window to take a look at the paper bag to confirm my guess.  And I felt like my heart would explode in happiness when I saw what was inside. It was a lunch box with a note saying: Wag ka sumibangot. Mas maganda ka kapag nakangiti.

She saw that I was about to cry earlier in the kitchen because my mother was preparing my sister's lunch kaya she also prepared one for me para I wouldn't feel bad.

"She's so nice." Liam said because he saw the note.

"She is." I nodded my head—still smiling.

Mag dadrive na sana ulit siya paalis pero may tumawag ulit galing sa labas. But this time, hindi ko gusto kung sino 'yong. The happiness I felt because of Isabella's thoughtfulness was quickly replaced by annoyance when I saw Lexis running toward us.
