He was sleeping by my side with his arms wrapped around me.
I carefully pushed his chest away because I didn't want him near me at para hindi siya magising but when he felt me move, he alertly opened his eyes and pulled me closer while shaking his head.
"D-Don't leave, please. I'm so sorry." His voice broke and another sob escaped his mouth.
My chest tightened but there were no more tears maybe because anger was dominating me.
"N-No." He shook his head even more and tightened his hug when I struggled to his embrace.
"Let go, Liam. Nasasaktan ako." By that, he quickly freed me and moved away.
Tumayo agad ako at tumalikod sa kanya to leave but his sobs were getting louder that I couldn't take steps away.
"I-I'm so sorry...please, tell me what to do..." He walked closer and knelt down in front of me.
I just stared at him because I didn't feel anything. Not even a single sympathy or worry that his knees might get bruises and scratches.
"Breathe." I told him and he nodded like a little child.
"And don't follow me." He lifted his head but I already turned away before he could even protest.
I took a deep breath when I exited the room but it was followed by three sighs from the three women who were waiting outside.
Mika was sitting on the floor and spinning a gun in her hand. Keisha was already laying down but sat when she saw me. While Loreen was pacing back and forth.
"What are you doing? Kanina pa kayo anjan?" I asked—weirded out.
"Exactly 7 hours, yeah." Loreen put her hands on her hips.
My lips parted in shock. 7 hours!? They didn't rest?
"Why...?" I tilted my head.
"Just in case you need a gun." She yawned and walked away.
My jaw literally fell down because I was so out of words.
"Wolf is waiting for you." My heart pounded against my chest when I heard what Keisha said.
Si Wolf ang unang nakahanap sa akin and he told me that he will make me win once I ask for his help.
He's a lawyer kaya alam niya ang pasikot-sikot sa batas at kumbinsido ako na matutulungan niya ako.
"Sandra." He quickly stood up and hugged me.
I hugged him back because at this moment, siya lang ang lalaking pinagkakatiwalaan ko.
"How are you?" He cupped my face and caressed my cheeks.
I closed my eyes to feel the little comfort he was making me feel.
"Help me, Wolf." I put my hands above his that were still on my face.
I stared at him gently—eyes were begging him to make me win pero alam kong kahit na hindi ako magmakaawa sa kanya ay gagawin niya ang lahat para maitakas ako sa impyerno.
