It had been a few days since they granted the wish for the girl. They've granted six more. Hester never got it; how could they only grant one or two a night when there was billions of people on earth who pray.

Cael told her that the most important prayers were brought to them. But that didn't make sense to her either. "A girl wishing for her father to pass a test isn't that important," Hester commented.

"Her family is poor, and her father has the potential to be the greatest doctor of this century." Nathaniel shoots back. Hester decided to stop asking questions and just go along with it.

"Hester, did you lose your crown?" Cael asked. "No, I've just left it on the table at home," Cael eyes her suspiciously. "I do hope you are not lying," Nathaniel says. Hester smiles and shakes her head, her heart beating intensely.

Cael stands up and walks in front of the chairs and looks at the five of them. "To our new addition," a glass appears in his hand, and he raises it. Glasses appear in each of the other's hands, and they raise them. They all take a sip of the beverage, it's a sparkling water that tastes like grape.

Once all of them finish their drinks the glasses disappear. "That's all for today," Cael says. The Angels stand up and go their separate ways.

Hester heads outside of the building and is tackled down onto the nearest cloud. "Hey!" She shouts as she pushes the person off. "What? Did you miss me?" Josephine asks her.

Josephine helps her up and brings her into a hug. "There's going to be a meteor shower tonight," Josephine says, "we should watch it."

"Josephine, I need your help with something," Hester said. "I need that headpiece back that I dropped," Josephine shakes her head and runs her hand through her hair.

"We could get in trouble," Josephine says. "They won't find out, it'll be quick," Hester reassures.

"They won't find out what?" Questions Cael from behind them. The two girls turn around. Josephine quickly makes a hole in the cloud. "We were watching these humans," Josephine says quickly.

"Since when did you like to watch humans?" Cael questions, eyeing her suspiciously. "She was just keeping me company," Hester adds.

Cael nods and walks past them. The girls finally catch their breath and then start to laugh.

"Do you remember where you were when you dropped it?" Hester shakes her head. "I'm going to get in so much trouble-" Josephine whines as she grabs Hester's hand and pulls her.

They reach a building that look like a tomb and open the door. "Don't tell anyone I let you in here," Josephine warns. She leads me down a spiral staircase to a room. There's a large glass orb in the center of the room.

"Here," Josephine beckons Hester to her and places Hester's hand on the orb. They both put both of their hands on the sides of the orb.

"Be careful," Josephine says, taking a step back. The orb starts to flash slowly in a blue color, getting light and lighter with each blink. The orb lifts off the ground and floats in the air, going towards the ceiling.

As the orb ascends so does Josephine, she lifts from the ground another set of wings growing out of her arms. A halo forms above her head in a golden color. She clenches her eyes shut and a third eye forms in her forehead, beaming out white, shooting into the orb like a laser.

The room grows white and then to a dark blue. There's a loud scream along with a whoosh that brushes past Hester. She turns around and there she is. The past version of her that's falling.

Right as the old Hester lifts back up her crown falls. Hester quickly dives down for it and reaches out. The sky begins to blink back to where Josephine is. "No!" Hester shouts as she tries to reach it.

Hester falls to the ground and there's a sound of glass shattering. "Josephine," a man's voice echoes. "I know, Micheal," Josephine's voice echoes back.

Hester finally comes back into reality. Theres a man with olive skin and curly brown hair with green eyes standing there, holding his hand out for Josephine. Josephine takes his hand, and he walks up the stairs. Hester follows them up the stairs. There's a group of people waiting outside in a cluster.

Micheal leads Josephine to the edge of a cloud and walks back towards the group. "Josephine," he starts. Tears are streaming down Hester's cheeks. "You are here by banned from Heaven." Josephine mouths the words; I love you to Hester as an arrow is shot through her chest.

Hester screams out and runs to the edge of the cloud. "Hester no!" Micheal shouts. Hester jumps off the side and dives after Josephine whose wings have disappeared. The wound in her chest dying her gown in a marron shade.

Hester grabs Josephine and hugs her, wrapping her wings around her body. A dark black cloud rumbles under them, opening to a reddened realm. A large hand made of fire reaches out. "You need to let go Hester," Josephine begs, "I'm fine." Josephine wipes the tears from Hester's eyes and pushes her off her.

The hand grabs Josephine, turning her dress to an ash shade as it pulls her into its lair. Josephine smiles at her sister as the cloud closes and disappears. Hester flaps her wings again, stopping herself from falling. She stays for a moment before flying back up to the clouds.

"What did I tell you!?" Micheal yells. Hester charges towards him. "What was that!" She yells. She pushes Micheal but he doesn't budge. "Bring her back!" Hester yells as she beats in his chest. "What's done is done," Micheal says calmly.

"No. I will find a way to bring her back, you can count in that," Hester says as she walks off.
