The next day was an exciting day for Serena and her family, many of them transformed into more bland and less shiny versions of themselves.

Many people weren't super early, so nobody would notice them for who they were.

Serena went into the admissions office, and shown her letter of acceptance to the lady who gave her a big smile.

"That's amazing! I'm so glad that you're here to continue your family legacy!"

She bit her lip and looked down.

Lots of pressure was on her, even if she was not the one to take over heaven when her parents stepped down.

"We have 3 dorms here, there's Muz for the male students, Zenska for female students, and Hinnen for students who do not identify as a male or female. Do be aware that there are certain rules and regulations that are put in place, such as curfews and when you can and cannot be at an opposite gender's dorm, all in this packet right here."

A packet that seemed like a literature textbook was given to Serena.

"But, I have a feeling that there will be nothing wrong for you. You were raised to be an angel, so you always were a well behaved child."

Serena nodded.

"Thank you."

"Your room is room 210, and you will have 3 girls rooming with you as well. They have heard about your arrival and I may spoil a surprise, but they want to have a welcoming party for you. All very nice girls! Such sweethearts, you all will the best of friends!"

"That's good! Serena is a little shy at times."

Serena forgot that her parents were right behind her. It was a little humiliating to have them here, she thought that they would let her do this academy work by herself.

"I totally understand. Ellie and believe it or not, Fynn was scared too. I remember both of them when they came here." She referred to Fynn and Ellie who were there as well.

A whole family for a thing that a single person could have done, Serena felt like a baby.

Once she got her keys, she left and started to walk to Zenska. Her whole family had stuff in tow.

The campus was charming, all sorts of greenery and plants decorated the tan brick roads, the buildings had plenty of windows that reflected the mid morning sunlight, many of the buildings were actually made of stones that seemed a little darker than the tan of the roads. It seemed as if the world was a fairytale and she was in a kingdom of king and queens.

"Do you know why this academy is called Charming's Academy of Magic?"

"Yes! After Prince Charming met Cinderella, he became fascinated by the magic of the fairy godmother. Him and Cinderella started to cultivate magic together and eventually, spread the magic all around Grozine. The two are long gone, and magic has evolved since them. Some use it for good, others use it for selfishness." Luciana replied.

Serena nodded and soon enough, she was at the gates of the dorm. The dorm was like a palace, with the flag of Grozine hanging from every corner.

The world had more colors then heaven which was just whites and the occasional shade of grey.

It was all so new to her, so inviting and so vibrant.

They went in the dorms and walked up the stairs and finally arrived at 210.

Sereena was about to knock when a girl with blonde hair and hazel eyes opened the door and had a wide smile on her face.

"Hello!"

She flung open the door and in the door were 2 other girls with her with decorations in their arms.

"WELCOME!" The blonde hugged her, which startled Serena.

"I know, it's a lot to take in." Another girl sitting on the bed peaked her head around.

The girl on the opposite side of her yawned.

"Lizzie, it is too early for this."

"What for?"

"The surprise extravaganza."

"Come on! Lighten up! She's our final roommate!"

Lizzie dragged the two other girls out of their beds and they sighed.

"Hi, I'm Claudia." The one girl said. She had auburn hair with grey eyes and had a golden definition to her skin, as if she was at the beach.

"And I'm Aubree." She yawned and put on her glasses, she had very short hair and was somewhat tall in proportion, her skin was a little darker than milk chocolate.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm sure you all know most of my family." Serena gestured to her family who was right behind her.

"It's an honor to have you come down from heaven to visit us!" Claudia curtsied.

"Thank you, Claudia. No need to be so formal with us." Luciana reassured her.

"We will make sure Serena is in good hands!" Aubree replied.

"Yes, indeed!" Lizzie added.

"Perfect, she's normally not a troublemaker, so she should be very easygoing to be with." Fynn giggled.

"It seems like you guys have a lot of stuff for her, we'll help you set up with her!" Claudia looked over her shoulder.

"I think I overpacked a little." Serena joked. Everybody in her family had one bag of something. They packed sheets, clothes, materials, food, books, and more.

"If you insist and don't mind. I didn't realize how much time had passed!" Fynn said.

"Yeah, we got it!" The girls helped Serena and started to take the bag."

"It was a delight meeting all of you!" Luciana said.

"Of course! Serena is safe with us!" Aubree woke up by now.

"Perfect! Have a great day!" The family left and by then, all the bags were in the room.

Serena looked around the room, it was quite spacious. Every girl had a double bed, 2 end stands, an ottoman at the foot of the bed, a desk at each corner of the room, and a chiffornier by the beds too. There was a balconey at the back of the room as well.

To her, it reminded her of the guest rooms in the palace at home.

All of the girls started to chat and giggle and help Serena settle in. While her family was away, Serena felt light, as if nobody was watching her every move.

As with Fynn and Ellie, Serena's family would not keep on eye on her from heaven due to the fact that they were away in the mortal world, which was surprising since the only distance between her and her family was in the clouds. This was due to the fact that the family respected privacy and wanted them to focus on their education.

She could get used to this freedom away from heaven.
