Ninjago Fanfic: The Lightning Serpentine

Chapter 20

With a thought, Jay raced to the top. Ninja vs. Stone Army, what a classic. "Leave my friendss alone!" he threw a death hypnotizing glare to the Stone dudes. "Jump off that hill!" he yelled at Kozu. Kozu froze, and shouted in gibberish to jump off the hill like an idiot. "Jay!" Zane smiled. "We were missing Jay!" Kai exclaimed. "Quick! Get in positions! That won't hold them off much longer!" Lloyd called, and they all stood where they were supposed to. Lloyd charged to hit the bell again, this time, it worked. He landed perfectly as the bell rang loudly. Light shot from the bell to him, as if it was transporting powers. "Whoa! What's happening?!" he shouted. "No one move!" Zane yelled.

Lloyd looked around, and focused on the light that's shining on him. The light was kinda reflected to some crystals above. The crystals sent the light to the pillar Kai was standing beside, and Kai's uniform merged into a cool kimono. The bonus was a weapon. It shined to Zane and had the same effect. Then Cole, then Jay. And Jay's even had a fitting hole for his tail! At last, Lloyd levitated from the ground, and began to spin. The weapons of the four sprang open and appeared as a blade. "Guys, send him your powers!" Kai yelled. The four original Ninja shot the powers of their elemental blades to Lloyd, who is already in his kimono.

Finally, something erupted from the Green Ninja, something huge, a big, massive, golden dragon. Lloyd fell down. "Lloyd!" Kai yelled. The Stone Army has finally arrived, Jay's hypnotizing powers have worn off on them. "Let 'em have it!" Lloyd yelled. The warriors charged. "Now we get to fight!" Cole shouted. Kai, always getting his grand opening, slashed his sword which sprung out fire. "Cool!" he said. The Red Ninja jumped from the ground and stuck the blade on the ground. He ran around which created a ring of fire. "Whaa-hoo!" he exclaimed, running into the fire and kicking the warriors out.

It was Jay's turn, the warriors charged and he jumped up as they attacked. Now standing on their weapons, Jay made lightning on the blade and electrified the warriors while jumping off. Then Zane, who jumped and hung on the pillar when the warriors attacked. The Stone dudes stood on each other's heads to reach the Ninja of Ice but he jumped down, freezing them in process. He kicked the ice, and the warriors fell.

Now Cole's turn, he has been waiting for this in ages. He stuck his blade in the ground, making a crack in the ground. The crack made some dirt to cover the Stone warriors. "Haha!" Cole kinda danced his way to the pile of dirt and stomped the warriors' heads in it. Lloyd looked at him, then looked at the rest of the warriors including Kozu. "My turn." Lloyd powered his little orb of energy until it glowed golden. Again, the Golden dragon appeared, forcing the Stone Army to retreat. Even in the Bounty, they can still see a magnificent dragon and four elemental powers shooting out like a performance. The Bounty crew cheered. "They did it!" Nya exclaimed. "Yes." Wu smiled. "Perhaps good will win after all." Misako said.

At the celestial clock, Garmadon was with the Overlord. "It appears that your indestructible army isn't as tough as it appears to be." The Dark Lord said. "The Ninja may be getting stronger, but so are we. When the celestial clock reaches zero, the ultimate weapon will be complete, and then there will be nothing the ninja can do to stop you from turning Ninjago into your image!" The Overlord said.

Ahem, yep. At dawn, Garmadon and the ball of purple gas were at the Celestial clock again, unless they stayed there all night. Garmadon was looking at it with a little doubt. "The clock is only hours away from finishing its countdown to the final battle between good and evil, Garmadon. Why so sad?" the Overlord asked. "Me? Sad? Ha! Nonsense!" Garmadon denied, "I couldn't be happier. It's just..." he looked down a bit. "Lloyd." the Overlord said. "I still have to battle my son in order to transform Ninjago into my image?" he asked. "Battle and defeat, if evil is to prevail." Garmadon looked at the clock again, and walked down the hill...

In the meantime, guess you guys wanna have a peek at our ghosty friend. Cole was in his dreams again, and the mysterious ghost dude was there. "Hey." Cole greeted. "Hey, looks like you're in a good mood." The ghost said. "Yeah, I found my friend and got my powers back!" he said. The ghost smiled. "Um, how's the prison....?" Cole asked, picking his words. "Good as always." he muttered. "Well, do you remember anything when you're still... well.." Cole started. "Alive?" the ghost thought about the whole "You made me believe" thing. "Not really." he lied. "You sure that there's no way we can save you?" Cole asked. "No." said the ghost. Then his eyes turned from coal black to lime green, like his body.

"Huh?" The Black ninja frowned. "That role... should be mine..." he said in a darker, deeper tone. His eyes turned back into black again, and he gasped. "What was that?" Cole exclaimed. Before the ghost can say anything, he vanished. The Ninja of Earth opened his eyes. The what now?

"Order up. Coconut cream pie. Served well done!" Kai exclaimed, shooting down a coconut with his elemental blade. Looks like the Ninja were having a party. They were at a beach in their swimsuits. "It is good to have our powers back." Zane smiled. "Yup, you're right. And since that we've all been working with our witty quipss to follow every cool thing we do, I'd ssssay we've got the final battle in the bag." Jay boasted while Cole ran aside. "Or should I say..." he winked at his best friend, and he winked back, shooting a coconut in the sky. "I'd be sshocked if we lose!" Jay shot his elemental powers into the air, and it exploded.

"Enough." Wu said, crashing the party, "Are you trying to reveal our hidden location?" he asked. "Uh, sorry, Sensei. We were just practicing our cool new elemental blades." Kai said, "And our witty quipss." Jay added. "Be wary of overconfidence, Ninja. While it is true your powers can defeat the Stone Army, only Lloyd alone has the power to defeat Garmadon. When it is all over, then we'll see who laughs last." Wu said. "Yes Sensei." The four obeyed.
