a couple days passed, haru was frantic to search for the key document for todays meeting. hell be destroyed if he misplaced it. mate or not, destan wont be able to cover for him.

"whats wrong?" destan came out of his office concerned with his singer. hes feeling his singers distress.

harus still flipping folders after folders and its making him stressed out he didnt even hear his boss in front of him

"haru look at me... HARU!" destan didnt mean to yell but seeing his singer going gaga like this due to some document is, out of question, his concern as well.

haru abruptly flick his head up from under the table causing him to bump his head miserably. hes sure everyone heard it. he stood up cupping his bumped head and facing his boss teary eyed.

"get inside my office." destan calmly said. he cant afford to be too intimate outside. this might cause his singer some jealousy and malice from his co-workers. only if he could have thought of that from the beginning, haru would not be like this now.

"whats wrong?" destan leaned back on his table crossed arms looking at his singer worriedly.

haru stood there in front of his boss still stressed out about that document. its a report from their executive accountant about this years accounts. his boss will have an internal corporate meeting in exactly 45 minutes from now and he couldnt find it anywhere. it was personally handed to him and now it was nowhere to be seen. how could he tell it to the ceo himself? he couldnt let him be disappointed in him after trusting him this much.

"i...i..."

"haru, im not anyone. im your mate." destan reached out with an open arm to haru indicating him to come over to him. haru hesitated for a bit but complied. he timidly came forward. when he was at arms reach, destan hugged haru with his head on the smaller mans chest. he looked up at his singer hoping this could make him calm down and tell him whats really going on. hes been observing him these past few days and hes been in constant stress. he wanted to let his singer confide in him on his own but knowing how stubborn his singer could be, he wont tell him unless he couldnt really take it anymore.

haru let out the breathe he didnt know he was holding but what he didnt expect was the tears that flowed from his eyes. destan was alarmed.

"haru whats wrong? please tell me." destan stood up straight and held haru face in his hands trying to wipe his tears away from his cute face. haru melted into destans chest and let out a loud cry. everything that happened to him these past few days came rushing down on him. the childish pranks, the unwanted rumors and even the loud gossips whenever he was anywhere without his boss. he didnt know what to do now. he couldnt deny the fact that he really is in relationship with his boss but it was never out of ill will. he was never a gold digger. he could earn money by his own effort, he had proven that. how could they make malicious assumptions just because of some falsified exaggerated blown up stories.

"dear, please. i cant do anything for you if you just keep it inside. you know ill do anything for you." he held his singers face to face him, to let him see the sincerity in his words. he truly will do anything for his singer. all the warmth that run through him was because of him. the beating of his heart is also because of him. his very existence revolved around him. all that was left was harus acceptance of this relationship.

"help me, please." haru finally said.

"what is it? something or SOMEONE bothering you?" destan said coldly. he knew that his singer wont be this stressed if its just about work. someones orchestrating something and hell know who in just a heartbeat.

"no... i dont know... someones been... been pranking me like pins on my seat, pouring water on my drawers and even deleting some files on my computer. now its the files that ive been securing for your meeting later, magically disappeared out of nowhere. please..." haru said while wiping his face off with his hand.
