1. We're Maybe On Our Way Seidou!

'The score was tied. The last inning, two outs, bases loaded. The count at 2-3. This turned out to be our last game at Akagi Jr. High.'

"Game set! Narushima Jr. High wins it!" The student commentator from Akagi Jr. High called out. The players were told to line up by the referee. But a student from Akagi, well two students, stood on the field. Neither looking like they wanted to move. "Hey you two! The games over already. Hurry up and get in line!" The referee called over to the two students.

"Hey..Eijun. Esumi." One of the teammates from Akagi whispered.

"Ei..Esu.." The only other female player at Akagi muttered sadly, watching the twins. She fell into silence as Akagi's Captain and Vise Captain stood silently. The Captain was Sawamura Eijun, a potential pitcher. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he muttered incomprehensible words. Their Vice Captain was his twin sister, Sawamura Esumi. She placed a hand on her brother's shoulder, clenching her fist and tightening her jaw.

"S-sorry...We wanted to take all of you with us against the country.." Eijun forced out. Esumi nodded, casting her eyes to the floor.

"Ei-chan..! Esu-chan!" The team muttered, beginning to tear up over the loss.

"Eijun. E-Esumi.." The other female player whispered, also beginning to tear up. She placed a hand over her mouth to stop the sob from escaping.

The other team, Narushima Jr. High, was taken aback by the atmosphere. They were shocked at Eijun crying and saying such a sentimental line. Until snickers turned into bursts of laughter. "Pffftt....BUHAHAHA! What kind of shit are you spewing now asshole?" One of the opposing players laughed tauntingly. "Did he really just say that!?"

"A nobody from a small town kiddie school taking on the whole country? Oh, too much!" Another player from Narushima held his stomach and leant against his friend.

Players from Narushima continued to say rude things about Akagi. None of the referees or coaches seemed to do anything about it though. A hand lifted into the air, and came crashing down upon one of Narushima's players. "You wanna piece of me?!" Eijun yelled angrily with tears still streaming down his face. Esumi reacted quickly, locking her brother's hands behind his back.

"Wh-what the hell are you doing...?" Narushima's players asked in shock. "Can't stand losing a game asshole?" Another guy taunts.

A murderous aura appeared around the junior high Captain. Esumi tightened her grip. "No. This is for the pride of Akagi Jr. High School!" Eijun spoke through clenched teeth. A few lines were exchanged between the students of both schools. Until Eijun broke free from his sister's grip and started a fight. Esumi fell back into the arms of her teammates. They watched as Eijun took on all of Narushima's students in a fight.

"HOW STUPID COULD YOU BE?? WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO TO ME???" The Akagi's baseball coach yelled and scolded the Sawamura twin that started the fight. Eijun kneeled in front of him. "Do you know how much trouble you caused everyone?? I had a hard time. Being scolded by the opponent's manager and being stared at by the players." The coach cried in shame.

"It's a disgrace to lose to a team of pansies like that.." Eijun replied with his eyes closed, not even looking at the coach.

"IT'S NOT WHETHER YOU WIN OR LOSE! You don't go slapping around the other team!" The coach scolded loudly. Eijun opened his eyes, finally looking up at the adult.

"Oh like that?" Eijun wondered aloud.

"IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS!!" The coach yelled back harshly.

"Well how embarrassing!" Eijun laughed it off, rubbing the back of his head in shame. The coach sighed, rubbing his head in distress.
