"She's beautiful."
"Fascintating."
"I'm surprised she hasn't died yet. The molecular structure of the velociraptor is holding the Galimimus and Abrictosaurus DNA well." Dr. Wu spoke. This creature they had produced was a miracle that was much more promising than the Indominus. Now that they had Owen Grady the chances of her becoming a star attraction at Jurassic World were even higher.
The sliding doors to the Hatchery opened and closed, and Claire Dearing stepped through.
"How is the Potentus doing?" She asked, checking off things from her clipboard. Dr. Wu raised an eyebrow, "Potentus? I thought it was the Deinotriodonmicronychus Raptor... or did I miss something?" he grinned.
Claire laughed and quickly retorted, "Do you know how hard it is to pronounce that, Dr. Wu? You may be a scientist, but a four-year-old can't pronounce that, or did I miss something? Besides, it means fierce in Italian." She smirked, proud to have outwitted Wu. She looked to the holographic image designed to predict what the dinosaur would look like when fully grown.
"Wonderful. I'm glad we have this underway because Indominus will certainly not be enough to increase visitor rates to our goals." Claire looked over to the Incubator and gasped, "It's hatching!"
"Out, out! Get them out!" Dr. Wu told Claire. She had brought along a few sponsors with her, but they weren't worthy of experiencing this powerful creature hatch. As they quickly walked back out of the pristine hatchery, the shell began to crack, and large claws shoved their way through the material. Half of the egg cracked off, leaving the baby visible to everyone.
It looked a mess with some of the egg white sticking to the small earth-toned hybrid. She was brownish-gray with a large red stripe running down the side. The incubator scanned the Potentus and identified it quickly.
"Deinotriodonmicronychus Raptor. Gender: Female. Danger level: 76 out of 100. Omnivore."
Dr. Wu gasped. He hoped his precious hybrid wouldn't be too hard for Grady to handle. This raptor was an oncoming killing machine. And later to be star attraction at the park, he told himself.
The thing is, the Indominus Rex has already killed 4 people while feeding or trying to train.
And it was a Danger Level 73/100.
