The 74th Floor

Floor 74, We haven't found the boss room yet and I don't know if we will anytime soon. I've been grinding heavily on this floor, I haven't joined anyone's party since the incident on floor 50. That was also the last time I saw Kirito, Klein or Asuna. I've gone MIA since then, no one has seen me since I've been staying in the woods or swamp of each floor. My cursor is no longer green either, I've gotten attacked many times while out here.

    I'm a "Red Player" now. Though that's mainly because of what I've chosen to do for money. I'm an Assassin for hire. I still fight on the front lines, but not in any place people can see me, since I don't know what people will say now that I'm a red player. I'm currently grinding in the dungeon of floor 74, swiftly dispatching every enemy in my way, leveling as much as I can. Since floor 29 I've gone from level 66 to level 89. I gained a new sword recently as well, a much needed upgrade from the sword I was using before, after all I'd been using it since floor 30.

    The sword is called [Hope's End] a pure white longsword, it has about a 90% damage upgrade from my previous sword. I also got a boss drop from the last few floors, armor mainly. The most recent armor drop I got was from floor 72 where I got a white cloak called [Cursed Drape of Silence] it was the same shade of white as my long sword. I heard loud clanging from behind me so I went to investigate. When I got to the noise I saw two people I didn't expect to be teamed up.

    "Kirito? Asuna?" They quickly turned around to see who was talking to them, though they didn't recognize me at first. "Who are you?" Kirito asked, "It's me, K." "No K, has black hair." Shit I forgot, after Klein revived me my appearance started to change a bit, My eyes went from their ocean blue to a grayish white and my hair went from black to silver. "I can assure you two it's me." "Tell me something only K would know then." "Alright, after the briefing on floor 28 we went to Agils shop to hang out then we partied for the boss on floor 29. Also Klein revived me with the revival item you gave him."

    When I mentioned the revival item he realized I was telling the truth. "It really is you huh?" "Yeah." "What happened to your hair, and your eyes?" Asuna asked "Well, after I got revived I started to change, physically at first but over time mentally as well. My eyes turned to this and so did my hair. But the most bizarre change was in my head. I went from being completely against killing others to this." I said pointing at my cursor. When they looked up their eyes widened. "What happened? Who did you kill!?" Kirito yelled, drawing his sword "Kirito, calm down." Asuna said, making him put his sword away "I'm sure he had a good reason. Right K?" "I became an Assassin for hire. I spend all my time in the woods or in swamps. People seek me out to do their dirty work."

"I see. Well, at least you're helping people. Right Kirito?" He took a few moments before agreeing, though hesitantly and not fully believing it "Right." "If it helps at all the main targets I get are the green players of red guilds anyway. Such as Laughing Coffin. I recently killed one of them on floor 71. That was my last mission." "As long as you're not killing innocent people I see no problem with it, and I'm sure Kirito feels the same." He nodded, though no words were spoken for the rest of the time we were together.

Around lunch we decided to take a break and sat against a wall near the entrance. "Oh no, I'm sorry K, I didn't pack anything for you." "That's fine Asuna, after all you had no clue I'd be here. Plus I packed my own lunch." I reassured her and pulled out my own sandwich that I made myself. She looked content with that so she let it be and gave Kirito his lunch but he stayed silent, probably not fully okay that I became a murderer. 'I hope he comes around soon.' I thought before my attention was drawn to the entrance by a group of people entering.

Their armor was red and black and the leader was a red head with a red and yellow headband. "Hey Kirito! Long time no see man!" He said looking over to Asuna "Wait. What the hell! I thought you were a solo player man, what're you doing with a...girl!" Kirito looked a little annoyed at his antics "Hey, Klein." Klein bent down with his hand out introducing himself to Asuna 'guess they never formally met before...interesting.' I was pulled out of thought when Klein said he was single. I started chuckling to myself which made him turn my way.
