"So this is it?" Millie's sad voice broke.

Alessia nodded, her lip quivering slightly.

"Right. Let get these bags in your car, the landlord will be around any minute" Mary smiled. Wiping tears from her eyes.

They carried the rest of Alessias belongings to her car and returned to the empty flat. They all sat on the floor of the empty flat, giggling and a bit tearful, knowing that this was an end of an era.

The door knocked, it was the landlord. The three other women walked passed Alessia and out to the car. Millie and Mary squeezing her shoulder as they passed. Ella hugged her from behind, tucking her head into her back. Alessia grabbed her arm that was around her torso, hugging her back.

Ella left the flat. Alessia signed the documents she needed too, completed a walk around of the flat with the landlord before taking her deposit back. Finally, she pulled her keys from her pocket, dropping them in the hand of the landlord.

"Thank you." She smiled weakly.

"It been a pleasure Alessia!" The landlord held out his hand and Alessia shook it, leaving the flat and walking towards her car.

She seen her three best friends stood leaning against the bonnet of her car. All had red puffy eyes and wearing weak smiles. She couldn't help but smile at the ground as she walked toward them.

When she looked up, she seen their open arms pulling her into a group hug. After a few minutes. She sniffled.

"Right! I've got a good drive in front of me, I better get going!" She looked at them.

"Good luck, less! Going to miss you." Millie pulled her in for a hug, tapping her back. Walking back to Mary's car.

"Smash it Less, we're so proud of you. Drive safe yeah!" Mary done the same as Millie but Alessia held her tight before she could break away from her hug.

"Please look after her" She inhaled deeply.

"I will" Mary squeezed the striker in confirmation. Nodding before walking away.

Then it was Tooney.

"So this is it?" Ella's sad eyes looked up at Alessia's. A weak but genuine smile across her face.

"Oh, Come here" Ella's voice broke as she seen Alessias bottom lip start to shake. Reaching up she put her arms around Alessias neck and the striker bent down into the embrace.

"Im not ready for this part" Alessias voice broke, she looked at the ground and sweeped her hair behind her ear.

Ella turned to her, her eyes filling with the blondes.

"What do you mean?"

"Leaving you"

"Oh Lessi.." Ella walked forward and pulled Alessia in a tight hug. It was heart wrenching for Ella to have her leave. Since she and Joe had split, she felt a freedom around Alessia she hadn't felt before. Although it was daunting, it was like time with Alessia was a necessity for her.

"We'll still be besties!" Ella rubbed her back, feeling her nose swell, kicking down the feelings in her gut. She knew it would change. They would change. It was yet another devastating blow for her. But she wasn't about to let it show.

"Yeah i know! It's just going to be weird not seeing you, in person at least once a day.." Alessia's eyes rested on Ella's and it made the midfielders heart skip a beat.

"I'm so proud of you.." Ella smiled genuinely, her eyes welling up.

"I'm going to miss you so much.." she started crying reaching her arms back out to Ella.
