After a long day of being out in the streets, Jordan pulled up into him and his fiancé's driveway, rolling his eyes at the sight of her car parked. He was hoping she would've been out. Parking his car, he sat in the still space for a few minutes before he sighed and grabbed his things from the passenger's seat, exiting out of the car. Closing the door, he used the key to lock the doors and walked up the stairs to their porch. Usually, he would be able to smell if Kierra had cooked or was in the middle of cooking, from the door step, but he smelt nothing. That agitated him. Shoving his key into the hole, he turned it until the door was unlocked.

Opening the door, the view before him struck his last nerve. "Why isn't this fucking house cleaned up?!" He shouted as he walked into the house. Slamming the door shut, he locked it and began searching for her. "Kierra Valencia Kelly!"

Hearing his booming voice, again, Kierra popped her eyes open. She silently sighed, slowly, sitting up from the couch's pillow. Yawning, she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She didn't remember falling asleep. Looking down at the sight of her 5 month old baby, on her chest, her face held a small smile. Standing up from the couch, she grabbed the remote and turned off the television.

"The baby is sleeping, J," She announced, catching his attention.

Stopping midway up the stairs, he shook his head and continued walking. Walking inside of their bedroom, he tossed his belongings on the bed and began to undress as Kierra started her way up the stairs. Tucking the blanket under her arm, she walked to their room and stepped inside, darting her eyes to the floor while Jordan stood next to the bed, gazing at her as soon as she walked into the area.

He shook his head, once more, unbuckling his belt. Pulling it through the belt loops, he let it fall to the floor, taking off his pants. Kierra went over to their baby's crib and gently placed them down inside.

"What was your ass doing, all day, you couldn't have my shit together when I touched down?" He asked, pulling his shirt over his head.

Kierra leaned up from the crib and sighed, closing her eyes. "I didn't get a chance to do much. All day, the baby has been crying and fussy,"

Scoffing, Jordan grabbed a cigarette from the pack and lit it. "That's real pathetic. I can't leave you, alone, for a few hours, to watch a baby? What's wrong with it?"

"Don't call her an 'it' and she has an ear infection. I told you this, yesterday,"

"Oh," Jordan says, taking a few hits out of the cigarette, blowing the smoke in Kierra's direction, causing her to fan her arms and cough. "Stop being so dramatic,"

"It's not being dramatic. You know the baby and I have asthma, Jordan,"

Rolling his eyes, he slipped his boxers off and walked around the bed, over to her side. Wrapping his arm around her neck, he took a big hit out of the cigarette and blew the smoke, directly, into her face, causing her to go into a huge coughing fit, fighting to get away from the garbage smell.

He laughed, watching Kierra throw her body. "You better stop all that damn moving. Know you too damn big for that shit," He pushes her, walking away, asking the cigarette into the ash tray, setting it down. Catching her balance, Kierra tried to catch her breath as she knelt down in the bed. She watched as he walked to the bathroom, naked, with tears threatening to leave her eyes. "When I get out, I better have some shit to eat or the baby going with ya Mama," He said before closing and locking the door behind him.

Kierra's body ran cold hearing those words. She knew what they meant and she didn't want any of that to happen. She was still a little achy from the previous week. Getting up from the bed, she walked over to her daughter's crib to check up on her before she turned on the baby monitor, walking out of the room. Heading downstairs, she picked up the little toys and stuffed animals that accompanied them.
