Kagu, is a stern, unsmiling, hard to crack. His control over his quirk was amazing, in both strategy and movement, I could never win against him. Even when I thought I caught up, he would one step ahead of me.
Mayumi, is a dumb, simple and annoying. No matter how many times he lost to me, he never gave up. "He's a genius, he has to work hard now to become a top hero." Is what everyone told me, sometimes, I forget who I truly am. But "He" understands who I am.
I won't lose to him. . . I want to win. . . Against him
In the outer edges of Tokyo. . .
As Mayumi bumped his small head into the dirt, causing his black spiky hair to get even more messy than it already was.
"I'll win next time!" He told me. With his skin removed, because of his quirk; It was weird seeing him move his mouth, and me seeing all that muscles move.
"That's what you say every time," I gave him a hand to stand back up.
My name is Kagu Tsuchi, my quirk is called smothered ashes, it causes ash and smoke to be released out from my sweat glands, which I can control to do what I want. Mayumi Fujimori is the guy that I just beat in a spar, his quirk is exoskeletal, it allows him to create anything out of his bones as long as he has the nutrients to make bones. The bones come directly out of his marrow, so his skin consistently gets ripped apart.
I turned my back on him.
"Hey, where are you going!" I heard Mayumi shout towards me.
"Training," I continued, "1 year until we are allowed to take the entrance exam for U.A, and 4 years until I can start my journey to become the number 1 hero."
"The number 1 hero?"
I smirked, "It's a place that has nothing to do with you."
"Hey, then for our next battle." I saw Mayumi smile, and pointed his hand upwards. The sun was exactly on the tip of his finger and it felt as if the theater light was on him. I covered my eyes from the sun and opened it slightly to see Mayumi.
"Let's see who can get there the fastest, to the Number 1 Hero."
Now I remember this moment as I stand infront of him again.
"What are you thinking?"
"Well I just remembered, when we made our promise."
