~Time skip about 2 years~

~Kyojuro pov~

Tonight I have a mission with Tengen, Senjuro, and three other slayers. "Kyojuro let's go, we don't wanna be late." I look up to see Tengen running towards me. A soft blush covers my cheeks. Why does he look so hOt? My crow lands on my shoulder as he stops running so he can walk next to me. We walk in a comfortable silence till we get to the train station. Senjuro is already there. "Kyo-nii you're here." Is the only warning before a pair of arms wraps around me. I smile and gently hug Senjuro back. We stay like this for about five minutes.

I suddenly hear loud screaming. Turning my head in the direction of the noise I see three boys. They have blond hair, reddish brown hair, and. A... boar mask? I shrug it off. And say "HELLO YOU THREE!" The trio looks towards me and the boy that was at a Hashira meeting says, "Hello my name is Tanjiro Kamado. My friends names are Zenitsu and Inosuke." "Well hello Zenitsu and Inosuke, I am Kyojuro Rengoku." I reply. A soft voice beside me says, "My name is Senjuro Rengoku." " AND I AM THE FLAMBOYANT GOD OF FESTIVALS, TENGEN UZUI!"

The trio gives Tengen a weird look and Tanjiro bows. "Nice to meet you." He says. I hear a person saying we need to bord the train. I was about to say something when Senjuro beats me to it and says, "We need to get on the train. It's going to leave in a few minutes." And we get on the train. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and the boy with the boar mask that I assume to be Inosuke sit together. Tengen immediately takes a seat on my right. Leaving Senjuro to sit at my left. Moments later the train begins to move away from the station. And I feel a head lay itself on my shoulder.

I turn my head to see Senjuro looking a little sad. "Are you okay Senjuro?" I question. I have a feeling I know the answer. He shakes his head. "No. It's been two years and I'm beginning to think I might not have a mate." He says softly. I turn in my seat a wrap my arms around him and he starts to cry softly. "If it makes you feel any better there is a lunar eclipse tonight." I say in hopes he'll stop crying. I am honestly hoping I might find my mate soon as I am beginning to lose control of my powers. I know Senjuro is having the same problem.

I feel Senjuro start to fall limp against me and look down to see him starting to fall asleep. "Kyojuro is Senjuro okay? Thought I could hear crying for a bit." Tengen asks. I sigh. "He is now." In a softer tone I continue, "Or I hope he is." As I say that my eyes begin to feel heavy. And the closest thing to me that isn't the seat to Tengen's arm. I can only hope he doesn't mind me laying my head on his shoulder. "If you're tired you can lay your head on my shoulder." I yawn and answer, "Thank you. I am a little tired. Wake me up if a demon appears." And with that being said I lay my head on Tengen's shoulder and fall asleep.

~Dream~

I blink and look around. I'm sitting by a cliff, the moon at it's highest peak. I recognize that it's a lunar eclipse. "Why do you look sad my flame?" A voice says from behind me. I turn to see Tengen walking towards me. A hot blush covers my face. "I'm not sad I was just lost in thought." I don't get a answer so go to turn around. I'm met with a pair of lips touching mine. I freeze. Shocked. But I slowly begin to kiss him back. I turn my body around to face Tengen completely. I feel a gentle pain in my lip. Slowly I open my mouth. Entwining my tongue with Tengen's. I break our kiss to breath. 'WAKE UP THE INFINITY TRAIN IS UNDER ATTACK!'

I look around startled. "Did you hear that?" I ask. "Ya I did. Strange but we're..." He trails off. A rush of memories floods into my head. Senjuro fell asleep on me. Then I fell asleep on Tengen. Just to wake up here. I look up to see Tengen running towards the tree line. I shake it off because I hear a voice again. My voice to be exact. 'To wake up you need to cut your throat.' If this is just a demon I will beat your ass in the afterlife. I look down to see my katana hanging at my wast. Unsheathing it I bring it to my neck. Taking a deep breath I put pressure and slide. Then everything goes black.
