the next day, i woke up right next to oakley on the couch where we fell asleep after i made him watch reruns of the vampire diaries. he didn't like it very much but i still made him watch. he was supposed to go back to london tomorow but he decided to stay the rest of the week with me in new york so we can go back together.
i felt my phone buzz indicating that i had gotten a text message.
jenna: hey tori, hope you're well. the good morning america show is asking if you would perform for their october fest in a couple days. are you down to do that?
tori: yes ill do it.
everyone in the industry knows that you can't pass up good morning america.
jenna: the studio wants you to sing one new song to tease the album and then two old songs. i was thinking you can sing ' positions ' obviously and then " pain ". you can choose what new song to tease.
i sat up and looked at oakley who was still sleeping and under a thousand covers. he looks so innocent and peaceful. i turned back to look down at my phone and replied to jenna.
tori: i can sing ' boys a liar ' to tease it. i think me and oakley should perform ' obsessed with you ' together up there.
jenna: that actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. WAIT, you guys made up.
tori: yeah we did, it was a misunderstanding.
jenna: what was the misunderstanding bitch, he was kissing up on that madeline girl.
tori: for a MUSIC VIDEO. i gotta be smarter than that man.
jenna: ... for a music video.. okay..
tori: im serious! he explained yesterday
jenna: just be careful. ill call you later to talk about the rest of the details.
i just put down my phone and at that moment i saw oakley staring at me. i didnt even realize that he had woken up to be honest.
i gave him a quick peck on his cheek. " hi "
he smirked pulling me closer to him, " remember when you said you would show me around your city? im ready, innit? "
i totally forgot about showing him around the city but oop do i got the best spots for himmm.
" facts, we doing that today matter of fact. alsooooo i have something to ask " i said while giving him the best puppy dog eyes i can manage to do.
" man what ? " he asked sitting up.
" you wanna perform obsessed with you on good morning america in a couple of days wit meeee ? " i asked him continuing my puppy eyes.
he chuckled before replying, " how can i say no to those eyes. " , i squealed in response and gave him a big hug while also giving him many kisses.
" okay! so get dressed, i know where im taking you first. " i told him while i got up to head into the shower which caused him to follow me into the bathroom and close the door.
" i gotta shower too you know " he told me while walking closer to me making me a little nervous. he pulled me into him by my waist while he leaned against the sink. " lets save water? " which caused me to actually cackle right in front of his face.
" nah you too corny " i pushed him to the side. " go use the guest room "
he laughed in response and headed towards the door, " i see it's like that "
" been like that " i sassed back.
after he left i turned on the water to the shower before stripping off my clothes and getting into the steamy shower. it's starting to get colder in the u.s and in london so these hot ass showers make my back feel GREAT. i like to let the hot water run down my back its so relaxing.
