The leaves rustled a little louder today, swayed by the windy weather mixed with the sound of crowds that went past the two. Oosachi couldn't help but to noticed the overcast weather when an odd strong wind brushed through his hair and skin, causing him to lightly shiver from the gentle cold. He glanced over to his side where his eyes fixated on a girl. Her long light brown hair were swayed all the way to the back from the wind while her pale amethyst eyes were fully darted to the front.
Despite that, it was pretty clear that she seemed to be searching for a rather specific stall. A specific place, a specific spot, and Oosachi are only able to observe. There were a lot of questions in his head, a lot of words he could utter, lots of sentences he had arranged but none of it came out of his mouth.
Perhaps it was because of the tiredness and the sore on his neck that he felt. Or perhaps it's because of the thousands of homeworks from Ms.Sakechi that he couldn't get off from his mind. It's true that he had done half of it, but the homeworks seemed to be neverending.
The more he believed he had done, the more the works seemed to be piled up. It's like he's stuck in a matrix and no matter how many times he tried to get it done, it just kept coming and coming all at once. These were also the caused of his neck pain today. Sitting on his study table with his head tilted down almost the entire week just to finish the piles of homeworks he has had unfortunately caused a physical pain for him at such a young age.
But maybe it's for the good after all. Now Aori will view him as such a diligent student, despite his reputation, and maybe, just maybe, if he were to be lucky, he could find a loophole with this and convince Ms.Sakechi to lessen their homeworks or even better none at all!
But that sounds too good to be true. Everyone in the school knows how scary and strict Ms.Sakechi is. Most students concluded that it's because she couldn't find a man to be her forever partner and she were often asked about marriage.
As much as Oosachi wanted to pity her, he couldn't seemed to care less.
"Maybe if she were to be softer then she could actually attract a male to her territory." Oosachi's mind whispered. His eyes that had it gazed on Aori eventually drifted away to the side.
"Like Aori?"
"Yeah, like her."Oosachi nodded to himself, answering his own question.
It wasn't even seconds long when he was done with his daydreaming that he'd be tugged by his sleeve from the side. It caused him to almost immediately shifted his gaze to his side, gazing down softly at the same light brown haired girl when her pale amethyst eyes met his bright blue eyes.
"I think we've arrived!" She exclaimed eagerly as her lips curved into a smile.
Oosachi's eyebrows raised by her words as his eyes fastly trailed to the front and then a look of mesmerized can be seen clearly on his face.
The sound of crowds were different here compared to before, it was a little louder, a lot of cheering from stalls to stalls mixed with the sound of food being grilled and fried. Various different delicious type of smell struck into his nostrils as he closed his eyes.
Bells sound filled his eardrums, it almost felt like he was in food heaven. In fact that is what most people calls street markets as. Something that Oosachi had always been afraid of. It was actually odd, to most people, including him, himself. Throughout his entire 17 years of living, never once he were exposed to the street foods and never once he had even a tiny taste of it.
