Week 6: Shira

You know, I could not tell what had happened. Reika had told me something disturbing about Raph. He attacked her. It wasn't like he would hurt us, no, it's like he was possessed, again. He had turned into a Kraang Zombie which Leo dubbed and he snapped him out of it, but it's probably because the Curse hasn't left him, like it stayed there for no reason.

"And that's when he attacked me," Reika finished.

"Oh no," Casey gasped. I can see that his eyes are full of terror and he regrets what happened. "With that curse soul inside him then we're too late to get the infection out of him."

"What do you mean?" Mikey asked.

"I learned that if some of the Krang zombies Leo calls them had been infected and controlled within an hour then they are pretty much done for. But if not, there is a chance we break them out of its infection. But I think Rapheal has been infected for too long."

I was speechless. So that's what happened. Krang can infect the people and turn them into Krang zombies and they won't be able to remember anymore. I just wish that we could change that, so Raph can be saved once more but we're out of time. I just can't even shed a tear.

"So, what do you think did this to Raph?" I asked my sister.

Reika began to sigh. "Pielope has taken control of my boyfriend after you defeated her."

"That's impossible," Leo replied. "Pielope died in the explosion when the gem blasted the Druun away. Boom! Get it."

"No. Her spirit did. And now, she's gonna get revenge by possessing Raph and killing all of us."

I froze in horror, my eye grew wide with pain and suffering. Every bit of Krang, Casey and Leo's words echoed in my head as they rose in my head.

"My wrath will be reversed for you alone.."

"The world needs Master Leonardo..."

"It's scary to be responsible for the lives you protect. Your team... your family... .Your girlfriend... But we do it anyway because that's what it means to be a hero."

"No.. Not again," I began to sniffle, tears leaking down from my eyes. Casey suddenly took notice of me, sobbing.

"It's okay, mistress," he said as Celebi floated to my side. "You'll be able to save him. Everyone in the world needed a mermaid like you."

"But I didn't save him," I sniffled. "It's because we were too late to save his life when we turned into a Kraang zombie and we almost died because of Krang Prime. I couldn't do anything right."

"Shira, look," Reika answered to me. "I know you don't have the right decisions but you promised us we'll save Kumandra when we saved Raph. You and Leo changed and found the error of your ways and now you two had believed in yourselves."

I remained silent for a long time, still thinking about how horrible that we caused. I mean yeah, we did lose the key, lost Raph, our powers and everything but we managed to get it all back.

Suddenly, Mikey spoke up. "Hey, Shira, There's someone who wants to see you."

I looked over and there, I saw Nebula. The red alien had a guilty look and she stepped into the medbay.

"Nebula, I'm so glad you're here," Tomoka sighed in relief as she entered inside with her little sister. "Where were you?"

"At home," Nebula said softly. "I want to apologize to Raph. I don't know what was happening and Raph scared me."

"You really messed up, Nebs," I nodded. "You hurt him like dirt."

"I know," she said sadly. "That's why I heard the news that Raph is sick."
