2016 - An Old Friend
It had been several weeks since the last mission, Wade was nowhere to be seen and he wasn't answering his phone. Cara had begun to grow worried about him so she decided to look at any recent news articles and clips. After scrolling for a while, she saw a sighting of him at a large manor, it was probably a five hour drive from the compound.
Cara wasn't about to put all those miles on her car, so of course, she hopped into one of the jets. She was wearing her suit and figured it'd be best not to, she created an illusion that transformed it into normal looking clothes. She typed in the coordinates from the article she had read and the jet took off.
The jet was parked in the woods near the large house and she put the invisible "spell" on it. Cara walked to the front door and knocked on it. After a few moments the door swung open and a woman with red hair stood behind it.
The woman smiled warmly, "Hi, what can I do for you?"
"Wow," Cara said, "Has anyone ever told you you look a lot like Sophie Turner?" The woman furrowed her eyebrows and tilted her head, clearly having no idea who that was, "Sorry, um, I'm looking for my friend, Wade."
Cara could tell the woman recognized the name, "Come in." She walked with Cara to the kitchen, "Professor!"
A minute or so passed and a bald man in a wheelchair entered the room, "Yes Jean?"
"This woman is asking about Wade Wilson," Jean replied. Cara smiled at him as he looked her in the eyes, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." She said, facing Cara.
"Cara," The professor beckoned Jean over, she bent down and he whispered in her ear.
Cara heard what he said, "I can't get in her mind."
"That's because I've protected it," Cara replied, "nobody can infiltrate it unless I've given them permission." They both looked at her like she was insane, which she kind of was, "I have nothing to hide, though! Feel free to ask any questions, I'm just looking for my friend."
"I'm afraid you just missed him," the professor said, turning the chair, "Follow me."
Cara hesitantly walked behind him, toward the living room. She heard many people around the house, the pitter-patter of little kids' feet upstairs. Cara sat down on the sofa across from Jean and the professor. Something about this place made Cara feel uneasy, she began fidgeting with the rings on her fingers and looking around restlessly.
The entire sofa shifted slightly and Cara grew very confused, the professor pressed a button on his chair and the couch dropped to a the basement floor, "What the fuck?" She landed in a glass holding cell as the top of it closed before she could react. A few minutes later Jean and the professor arrived in the basement, on the outside of the cell, "Let me out!"
"Apologies Ms. Rogers," the professor said, rolling up to her, "We can't let that happen."
"Oh fuck," Cara replied, "Are you with Hydra?"
"No," he replied flatly, "We just need to weaken your mind."
Cara looked at them with widened eyes, "Weird." Cara held out both of her hands as a purple energy shot from them. Her power didn't even make a dent in the glass, she continued to try to escape but it was useless, the power just bounced around for a moment. Cara let out a sigh and took a seat back on the sofa, "You won't weaken my mind. Just tell me where my friend is please."
"He's gone," Jean said.
"You killed him?" Cara yelled through the glass, before realizing that Wade actually can not be killed.

FanfictionThis story is based off events from my marvel desired reality, it is not entirely similar to the movies. Not everything is entirely accurate to that reality but it is similar (I'm putting more trauma to add the dramatic affect lol)
