hello! This is not a chapter, but I suggest you read this for background information. you can skip this little part to get to the information!

so, I wrote a Seek x figure book called "Lead Me, My Eye" and it was horrible! I hated it because of a lack of plot, bad grammar, horrible spelling, no consistency, and horrid vocabulary, so I'm making a new one. it will be a LOT different from the previous book, which you can tell you had read the previous book, which I accidentally deleted 5 minutes before writing this! how lovely! now time for background information.

Seek: cold, excitable, and isolated, Seek is the least likable entity in the hotel. he has been in the hotel for 127 years, and Rush is his twin brother from when they were alive. Hide is his daughter of unknown age, though presumed to be around 100. Screech emerged from Seek's ink puddle 3 years ago, therefore all entities consider him his son. died at 28.

likes: quiet, running, family, drawing, writing, and relaxing noise.

dislikes: almost every entity, loud noises, his past, not catching players, himself (seek is very angsty fr), and humans. just humans in general, gotta hate them.

note on the character: seek does not have a mouth by default, however, he can manipulate his ink to form something like a mouth, though it isn't used to speak and can only be held for a minute at a time. ALSO HE'S BI :3

Figure: welcoming, sarcastic, and humorous, he once was very lonely but becomes friends with almost every entity, but enemies with Seek. 603 years in the hotel, does not have any entity family members. died at 20.

likes: books, fantasy, history, basically anything to do with knowledge, quiet, the sound of someone's heartbeat, any kind of humor,

dislikes: ambush's snoring, any loud noises, seek (at first), humans intruding on the hotel.

Notes on the character: he cries by just making sobbing noises and drooling uncontrollably. Despite being very large and strong, he is gentle. SEEK ON THE OTHER HAND....
