When Link isn't questioned about their outfit, choice of words, and everything of them in general, he isn't much of a talker. They are pretty much silent if not spoken to, and even when doesn't talk a lot if you're extremely unfamiliar to him. But, when given the chance for a good conversation, with someone familiar, they always take it. They ask more questions then some are able to keep up with. It's always about the person, and sometimes personal. Of course, he doesn't force people to answer. Most people can't even ask them questions, due to the fact they ask too much.

Lara Rose Evans was the result of an accidental pregnancy, as they were not planned to be born in the first place. Fortunately, their parents decided on still having him. But, instead of keeping the child, gave Lara up to a friend of theirs, a well known "Doctor". Lara grew up with this person, considering this man his birth father, and regarding to him as such.
Link, to this Doctor, was nothing more than a subject for testing. Being used as a means of testing medication, and working to see how far they could push a human was worth it if it wasn't to himself, it seemed. Eventually, this expanded to other children as well, a group of five to start. Lara took it upon themselves to try and "save" these people from this. It wasn't like they could escape, either way.
From 5, to 2, to 20. He even had a team for himself. Even then, Lara didn't realize it was his fault, just thought of it that they could be helped if Lara attempted to take all the testing onto themself. All that got them was more pain and the loss of an eye. Begging and pleading doesn't work, and that's something they learned quickly. Making friends there could work, especially with the one two years older. Maybe experience and wisdom would work? After all, Lara barley knew how to do much besides the testing.
