Sunset waves

 I walk along the cool beach, cold but, soft sand getting stuck between my small toes. Only it's a pleasant feeling of my tired feet sinking into soft, wet sand that leave small foot prints behind me. I can hear small waves crash to the shore which I walk along, ever so slowly. It's relaxing, like music to my ears and it makes me almost want to sleep. 

   A light breeze flows softly over the beach sending pleasant, small droplets of salty water onto my pale, smooth face. I look toward the horizon on the now golden sea and see, the dark oranges and golden yellows light up the sky and make the ocean waves shine gold. 

   I can faintly hear seagulls off in the distance behind me, where the tall, shiny, hotels are now blanketed in a soft gold. Palm trees look dark against the golden light, they tower over my small body and I wonder if they ever get lonely, being up so high, only ever talking to the birds. 

   So I keep walking, the warm sunset making an indescribable feeling of joy well up in my chest, it is a feeling that is new to me and my whole body feels like its floating on euphoria because of it. This sunset reminds me of every wonderful moment in life, like all of these warm feelings of love, compassion, joy, and ecstasy are stuck up in the sky all being let free in one moment. 

   I can feel my long, blonde, soft, silky hair flow down my small back, my pink and white dress flowing in the light breeze that sends a wave of stress off my tired soul. I feel as though all of my worries, my depression and my hatred have left me in this moment, as a warmth like no other fills my blood, traveling through my veins. 

   So now I sit here in the sand, back resting against the smooth, creamy grey palm tree, my blue eyes reflecting the Many, warm colours of the sunset and I sleep knowing that nothing in the world can hurt me in this moment, that know one can destroy these feeling of true warmth in this golden moment. 

   I feel save beside the golden sunset waves.
