Dione was thinking to himself. There was no one in the office, there hasn't been for a few minutes now. Which was more than long enough for him to drown within his own thoughts. Seraph wasn't going to be back for a while, so he decided to think. Think about why he was like this. Or he tried to. I'm just overthinking things again." He shook his head, this happened all the time. He doesn't have a distraction and goes on to think about himself, what he was, who he *could* have been.
He wanted Seraph to come back, he needed them to come back. He wanted to talk to them, to get these thoughts out of his head. Or he could just..close his eyes, take a break from his racing mind.
**click**
Dione jumped at the sudden sound of the door opening and closing. He turned to see Seraph, their usual tired expression on their face. "Seraph! You came back earlier than expected!" He said as he got up from his seat, walking up to Seraph happily. "Are you okay, you look a bit tired?"
Seraph tilted their head, albeit slightly confused, they appreciated his efforts. "I...always look like this?" A moment of silence passed before Dione perked up, "Of course-How could I forget.." he chuckled scratching the nape of neck. "Don't worry about it Dione, it's nothing to feel bad about." Seraph said as they walked past him and sat down, making sure their wings didn't hit anything.
Seraph was no where near talkative. More often than not, while in the office with Dione, they listened to him as he talked about the things he thought about. Which was a lot. Who'd think a dead man who's basically an amnesiac, with no proper comprehension of his past life, would have so much to talk about!
But if they were being honest, they loved it. They loved hearing about the things that often sprouted up in his mind. He loved it as well, because he knew Seraph was listening. Their small comments always seemed to make his day, even if they didn't seem to be the nicest thing to say.
"Well? Are you just going to stand there?"
Dione snapped out of his thoughts before walking to sit down next to Seraph.
"Sorry, just thinking about things-" Dione replied as looked over to them, their face looked more calm than usual. He smiled as he continued to speak,
"Say, I was wondering...may I keep you company somewhere less dreary than this office..?"
Seraph chuckled
"Are you asking me out, Dione?"
"...Maybe?"
