Riley's POV:
The scars slowly began to fade away. Only a few seconds ago did I slashed deep cuts into my wrist and already they were beginning to fade away. Why did I have to be immortal?! Life was pointless, but I couldnt die.
Being alive for hundreds of years meant I knew tons and had alot of experiences in "life". Now, there was nothing to look forward to, nothing that I had to be excited for anymore. I tried again to get the cuts deep enough to kill, but they just mended together again. Giving up, I walked around the old abondond warehouse that I so happen to crawl across. It was old, dusty, and reeked of moth balls. No one ever went there though, it had been abandond for years now.
My reflection revealed that I needed to feed, and soon. My natural eye color is an icy, electric blue with little hints of gold specks throught. When I need to feed however, red starts ti seep through around the outer ring or my iris, as with all others of my kind. you might be wondering, you might not, what in the world am I if Im not human? Well Im a vampire, a lone, boring, selfish, mena vampire. Thats what most other vampires claim my personality is like. I dont like being around anyone or anything, hence why I am currently living in an abandon warehouse. No, I am not like the vampires in the Twilight sags, I actually do drink from humans. Im definatly not bashing the Cullens, theyre actually really nice people. Yes I have met them and yes they are how they seem in Twilight.
Anyways, I peeked out into the night to amek sure the coast was clear before heading out. Most vampires can go out and act like they are human, living among them and usually feeding on animals. The town I lived in was a small town just north of London, England. Right outside the warehouse was a busy town road, going straight through the heart of town. By now, it was bustling with people of all ages. I usually fed on people between the ages of 16 to 23, their blood is sweet and mature, gives off lots of nutrients.
I spotted a woman, who must have been about 20, out jogging past the warehouse. My opportunity had arrived. Running full speed after her, I hid behind a dumpster and waited for her to get there. I didnt have to wait long becasue she came barreling past. Stepping in front of her, I used my power on her, you see I can control people by making eyes contact and focusing. Instantly she stopped jogging and cocked her head to the side like a puppy.
"It's alright, Im not going to hurt you." I used calming words. "Come here." She paused for a second but realized I wanted her. Using careful steps, she made it over to me. I smiled at her, which caused her to smile too.
"Show me your neck." She did as she was told and tilted her head back. I seized the opportunity and grabbed her throat, she didnt so much as flinch as I scrapped my fangs along her collarbone. That was the only way to find the best spot to pierce the flesh.
Her blood was sweet and savory as it trickled down my throat. The coppery tasting liquid was to good that i had to be careful not to take too much. When I feed, I never drink to kill.
