Michael's pov
~I trudged my way to 7th period with my fists clenched. I'm so mad about Josh.
My next class, Calculus, which I sucked at and hated. I walked into the classroom and sat down in the back where I usually sit in every class.
I heard a bunch of people laughing at the door and I looked over to see Josh and all of his dumb jock friends.
Of course he sat right behind me purposely to make me mad I'm sure.
The teacher started to talk about the same old shit every teacher has all day. I heard Josh talking behind me.
"Hey, did you see the new girl... she's pretty hot," what the hell he knows I'm dating her. Asshole.
"Yeah, she is man," I heard one of his friends reply.
Then someone tapped me on the shoulder. I probably shouldn't have but I turned around to see Josh smirking at me.
"Aren't you dating that new girl... Becca is it?"
"Yes. Why?" I said trying to calm my anger.
"Oh, nothing," he smiled.
"I swear to god if you say anything to her or touch her in anyway I will-"
"Mr. Clifford. If what you have to say is so important then say it to everyone why don't you."
Josh started laughing so I stood up and did what the teacher asked.
"I sure will. Josh, yes him right behind me, yeah... he's a jackass," I turned around to look at him and his jaw was clenched with anger making me smirk.
"Michael! Principal's office, now!" he said with clenched teeth.
"Gladly," I walked out of the classroom with a smile spread across my face being happy with what I did.
As I walked to the principal's office I thought of ways to kill Josh, because trust me, it was going to happen. I would make sure of it.
"Hey Mary," I said to the office lady.
"Mrs. Williams," she corrected me.
"Whatever, I'm here to see Steve."
She rolled her eyes, "he's in his office, but unless you want to be in more trouble then I suggest you call him by Mr. Mitchell."
"Yeah yeah," I walked into his office and he definitely wasn't surprised to see me.
"Hey Steve."
"Don'r call me that Mr. Clifford. Take a seat."
"So what'd you do this time?"
"I cussed in class."
"Great job Michael. Can't you just make this year a good one?"
"You know sometimes I think I'll actually try... but then I don't," I smiled.
"Well you should try harder. Is there anyone who motivates you to try harder?"
"Possibly," said thinking of Becca.
"Well listen to them."
"I will."
"Be lucky I'm letting you off with a warning. I don't want to see you again. Now bye."
"Bye."
Becca's pov
~I'm not enjoying school so far but I get to see Michael next period so that's a plus.
"Hey babe," I heard Michael's voice from behind my locker door.
"Hi."
I shut my locker and there stood Michael smirking.
"What?" I said laughing.
"Are you ready for History?" he questioned.
"I guess. Not my favorite, but I guess," I said dully.
We walked to class together and sat together as well.
"So, why were you talking to Josh?" Michael asked curiously.
"I don't know he just walked up to me by my locker and started talking to me."
"I'm gonna kill him," Michael said quietly.
"What?" I asked when I really knew what he said.
"Nothing," he said looking down.
We didn't talk for the rest of the class and it was really awkward. I don't know why he was being so protective and jealous.
When the bell rang I walked out alone.
Some girl stopped me in my tracks to talk to me and I wanted to tell her that I needed to go but I didn't want to be rude.
"Hey, I see Michael already got to you," she said pointing at my cheek. I gave her a questioning look until I remembered I still had a bruise on it form where my dad punched me. My makeup must be running off.
"What are you talking about?"
"I heard you're dating Michael Clifford. Don't get too attached," I gave her the most confused look ever.
"What... did he already hit you?" she said popping out her bottom lip like she was sad but she obviously was kidding.
"No? what the hell are you talking about? I-I gotta go bye," I said pushing past her not giving her a chance to answer my question.
"Fine but you'll regret being with him," I wanted to turn around right then and slap her across the face. Why would she say that? Way to ruin my first day.
I quickly grabbed my book bag out of my locker and waited for Ali to come by from her locker. I wasn't going to ride home with Michael I don't really know if we are good right now.
While I was waiting for Ali, Michael walked by his fists clenched.
I stopped him to tell him I was riding home with Ali.
"Hey Michael," he turned to me with his angry face still present scaring me, "I'm riding home with A-Ali." I stuttered a little bit because I was nervous.
"Whatever," he said then walked away.
Then Ali came by.
"Hey," she smiled.
"Hey can I ride home with you? I have some things to ask you."
"Yeah sure.." she said concerned.
Ws walked out and into the parking lot looking for her car. We finally found it and drove out of that hell people call school.
"Okay so.. Ali.."
"Yeah?"
"Well... everyone at school keeps like "warning" me about Michael and it's confusing me. What's wrong with him?"
"Oh uhm... I can't really tell you."
"Why not?"
"I just can't Becca."
