I tell my teachers,
'I have ADHD.'
My teachers tell me,
'You need to try harder.'
'You need to stop tapping.'
'You're so lazy!'
I tell my friends,
'I have ADHD.'
My friends tell me,
'You're so stupid!'
'You're so crazy!'
'Did you take your medicine?'
I tell you,
'I have ADHD.'
You tell me,
'Okay. And?'
That's all I could ask for.
'Okay. And?'
You don't care.
You don't tell me
I'm not good enough,
I'm not worthy,
I'm not smart enough or calm enough-
You just love me.
