3rd POV-

"Harry! Come on mate, you gotta come," Ron's voice rang through the phone speaker in Harry's ears. "It's about time we all met up. We haven't all been together since high school!"

Hermione had been trying to get their friend group together for a while now, but one thing or another had always gotten in the way. Finally, Hermione didn't have any studying for school, Ron got a day off of work, and Harry only had a half day at work. Ron wanted to go to a bar, which Hermione thought wasn't the brightest idea but she compromised with him.

"Ok ok, I'll come. What place is it again?" Harry asked, leaning back into his couch and taking a sip of the hot coffee he had in his hands.

"Yes! It's the three broomsticks. On Friday, so two days from now." He informed me. Harry was taken back to high school where the three met up to do homework or chill out; Sirius had taken him many times, bringing him and the other two to celebrate his wins in rugby competitions.

"Why do you always let me know things the day before... Ok fine, I'll be there. I got to go now though. Call later alright?" He got a response from Ron and then hung up just in time for Sirius to enter the living room. He looked tired from a long shift at work. Harry didn't know what job he had, but from what he put together, it was very time-consuming and exhausting.

"Hi Harry, how are you?" He asked while a small smile made its way to his face.

"I'm good, thanks Sirius. And you? Another bad day?" Harry asked. Sirius sat down next to him and sighed with a nod.

"Nothing you got to concern yourself with, don't worry."

Harry didn't know the job that Sirius had, only that it took up all his energy. Harry had no idea how he had managed to raise him from a child to now with so much going on. Sirius never left Harry alone and was always there to help. He is a great dad... well, close enough to one anyway.

"So, wanna go out for dinner tonight? 'M not really in the mood to cook," he laughed and waited for Harry to answer.

"Ya, that sounds great." He smiled.

That night they went to Chick-fil-A and picked up a meal. They ate in the car, watching as the sun went down over the buildings of London. Harry could remember how they did the exact same thing back when he was 11, on the anniversary of his parent's deaths. They had died in a shootdown apparently. They got caught up in the middle of two gangs' battlegrounds and got shot before Harry could even talk. That's what Sirius says anyway. They didn't stay out long before heading back to the apartment they lived in. They had both gone to bed but Harry didn't sleep, just watched YouTube until the sun rose again the next day.

The morning was the same as every other one. He got up, Sirius was already gone for work but left him toast and eggs on the counter and so he ate. After taking a shower he would get dressed and walk down the street to his work at a local cafe. He had gone to high school and earned his degree but after that, he wasn't sure what to do, so until he found out what, he has this job.

Work at the cafe was simple; tending to the customers, cleaning the tables, etc. And it didn't hurt that his coworkers were nice people. This day was no different; from 6 to 3 he worked

Harry had a lunch break from 11:25 to 12:10 so he walked around the mini restaurant strip area. He found a place and went in for a burger. As he was walking back, Harry couldn't not go into his favorite shop that had bubble tea. It was basically a habit at this point, letting himself have a boba drink a week, mostly on Wednesdays. There was a short line so he was in and out with his usual in no time. As he was leaving the establishment, a man bumped into him. The bubble tea thankfully didn't get all over him despite already being poked open with the straw.

"Sorry!" Harry said, standing upright after almost falling. Before the brunette picked up his drink, he looked up until he saw a face. The man seemed bothered, but as soon as his face lifted so he could see the short one, his eyes widened.

He whispered, "Just like him," and then reached towards Harry. Confused, he backed away. The man's eyes became calmer and he put his hand down. "Hey, come here kid." The man said and walked towards Harry. Harry backed away, and when the man followed he turned around and walked faster. He went faster... The tall man went faster. At some point, the brunette was at a light sprint across the empty streets. His heart was beating, having this random man chasing after him. "You're his kid aren't you!" He heard behind him. Harry saw an alley as he turned left and went to the back of it, now in the shadows. The man stopped at the entrance of the alley and looked around. Harry could see him start to creep into the alley before there was a sound that caught his attention and he went in the opposite direction.

As his breath slowed down his brain started to think more. Did this man know who his father was? Harry couldn't understand so he ignored it and picked himself up. He didn't know where he was when he came out of the alley so he pulled out his phone. The time was 12:30.

"Bollocks," he said to himself and then pulled up a number.

A car pulled up to the boy who had been wandering down a street. The window rolled down to show his friend, Ron. "Get in the car."

"Ron you wouldn't believe it, I was just getting Boba and this man bumped into me. Then he started chasing me! I ran and I got away but blimey! Straight out of a movie." Harry said, making many motions with his hands to exaggerate his speech.

"Mate, you gotta be more careful. You ran all the way to the shady part of town. Knockturn Alley, really Harry? What were you thinking?" Ron didn't look away from the road so Harry just looked out his window.

"You sound like Hermione," Harry said.

"Really? Dang, I'm spending too much time around her." He laughed and the little tension that was left depleted (like my motivation lol).

"Mind dropping me off at work?" Harry asked to which Ron replied:

"Mate, you should really go home and rest. After, well whatever that was, I don't think you should be out and about."

He had a good point, while very disturbing that he could form a thought that big. Harry didn't know it was possible.

The red head left him in front of his house and then left, saying something along the lines of "I'll see you tomorrow at the club eh?" He received a nod of the head and then drove off. Obviously Harry didn't just hang around, so he took a nap in his bed and decided he wouldn't wake up till Sirius had returned for dinner.

If only he actually had control over that.

Welcome everyone, to my next great idea. I am reading the Harry Potter books and before I even did that, I knew I loved the characters. What better than to write a story about them, and one of my favorite ships. The next chapter will hopefully be out soon, so until then I hope you enjoy your spooky week because it's October my creepy crawlies and this happens to be my favorite season of the year. Have a good fright.
