It's like deja vu except it's the other way around.
The very next day and after word has reached Phayu, he bursts into the soccer players' locker room wherein the other people there effectively clear out upon his arrival, leaving only Phayu and Prapai.
Prapai has a look on his face as though he saw this coming but he keeps his composure as he slips on a shirt. "To what do I owe this pleasure?"
At this, Phayu smirks and leans on the lockers. "I heard you played hero yesterday." He says in that icy tone. "I can't even turn around for one second without you hovering around my lover, huh?"
Prapai's equally sharp gaze flicks over to him then and he retorts, "I wouldn't have to if you were looking after Rain like a boyfriend should. Do you even care that he was being bullied yesterday?"
"Tch!" Phayu rolls his eyes before fixing them on Prapai. "You and your excuses, this is just so typical of you—sneaking behind my back and trying to steal what's mine."
Prapai's face hardens yet there's guilt in his eyes and despite his visible discomfort and hesitation, he chokes out, "P-Phayu, about what happened back then-"
"I didn't come here to hear your pathetic excuse, Pai." Phayu cuts him off, stepping closer and practically boring a hole with his eyes. "I came here to warn you. I'll let it slide this once because you helped Rain but if you linger around my boyfriend one more time, I won't just sit back."

"Are you sure you want to go back in there?" Sky asks Rain with a worried pout but the latter puffs out his chest and exclaims, "Of course! Why should I stay away from the cafeteria and my favorite shrimp fried rice because of some dumb incident? Besides, I'm sure P'Pai has taught them their lesson."
"Mm." Sky hums skeptically. Sometimes, he doesn't know whether to be impressed or annoyed with Rain's optimism. But he supposes it's still better than him sulking.
Sky remains on-guard as they enter the cafeteria, earning odd glances. They make it as far as the counter before the same girl pipes up again. "Apparently, he's not just clinging to Phayu but Prapai too, how desperate." Chompoo pretends to just be talking to her friends but she's obviously saying it loud enough for everyone to hear.
"It's always the innocent looking ones." Another remarks and the last straw—for Sky, at least—is when someone says, "I bet Phayu just felt sorry for him; we never even see them together. And why is he targeting seniors anyway? Does he have daddy issues because his father died when he was young?"
"Oi! You better shut up or I'll pull all your hair out!" Sky practically shouts. "You dare bring a deceased person into this, you-"
"Sky." Rain shakes his head as if to tell the other it's not worth it. "Let's just go." He says, taking his tray and walking towards an empty table but some guy crashes into him then and seemingly on purpose too based on the giggles of his friends.
Rain's lunch hits the floor and he feels himself boiling over at this point. "What the heck is everyone's problem?" He seethes. "You seriously think I'll keep letting it slide?"
"What are you gonna do?" Chompoo asks in a babyish voice. "Tell daddy Phayu?"
"No, I'll report you to-"
But just then, the doors to the cafeteria bursts open and Phayu along with his crew march inside. Their leader's gaze is fierce—even more so than usual. His aura automatically divides the crowd, all moving out of his way.
He's hardly ever seen here but when he comes around, he means business. And today isn't any different.
Phayu only stops once he's in front of Rain, briefly glancing at the wasted shrimp fried rice on the floor before flicking his eyes back up to his boyfriend who has on a stubborn expression yet his eyes tell a different story; he's sad and hurt.
What a fucking softie, Phayu thinks but the voice in his head just now lacked heat.
He reminds himself what he came to do before he gets too distracted with those damn round eyes.
"P-P'Phayu, why are you h-"
Stunned is an understatement with regard to how Rain feels when Phayu suddenly closes the small gap between them, swooping down and capturing his lips in a deep kiss.
Gasps and murmurs erupt in the cafeteria but Rain can't even hear anything or anyone because his mind is in pieces, all his thoughts getting blurred by the sensation of Phayu's warm lips on his and Phayu's hand on his back that's making it impossible to create any distance.
It's Rain's first kiss and although he imagined sharing it with P'Pai countless times, he has to admit Phayu isn't half bad. And with this gorgeous beast practically devouring him, can anyone blame Rain for getting a bit...carried away and starting to kiss him back?
But he gets snapped awake when it abruptly ends and Phayu turns around to address the crowd whilst wiping the sheen on his lips unabashed.
"I hope that's enough for all of you airheads to understand that Rain is my boyfriend." He says, glancing back at Rain who's just standing off to the side while looking utterly lost. Then Phayu scans the room with narrowed eyes and leaves everyone with a warning, "And because he is my lover, if you mess with Rain, that means you're picking a fight with me as well. Understood?"
And a collectively nervous 'yes' is then heard.
"Good."
Phayu turns back around only to grab Rain by the wrist to which the smaller male sputters, "W-where're we going?" But Phayu doesn't respond and just drags him away.
"Hey! Where are you taking Rain, P'Phayu?" Sky calls after them to no avail and when he tries to follow, Phayu's men block his way. It's only then that Sky notices someone standing at the far end of the room but not too far that he couldn't have seen what happened just moments ago.
"P'Pai?"
Prapai's gaze steadily follows Phayu and Rain until they're out of sight and when he turns around and walks away, there's an air of dejection about him that can only mean one thing—he must like Rain.
