“I wonder why she isn’t coming . . .” Ed pondered while resting his fingers at his chin as he sat on his couch comfortably.

“Maybe she’s just busy with homework.” Classy soothed while jumping on the arm of the couch with her feline abilities.

“Maybe. . .”

“Why” Classy narrowed her eyes in suspicion, “Are you worried about her?”

“Blasphemy” Ed scoffed, “Of course not.” He spoke quietly with furrowed eye brows, but he wasn’t so sure anymore. At first when he first set his sights on her, he expected to have things go smoothly. But his beating organ made things rough for his intellectual brain of reason, now with the two competing he won’t ever know if he’ll be able to complete his mission. Or he will just have to go after another.

“Now don’t speak with such a poisoned tongue” Classy scolded lightly and swished her tail in a highly manner, “I actually like the girl if you ask me.”

“But I wasn’t asking.” He muttered with his palm across his mouth tiredly.

“You can be such a pansy at times” Classy huffed and jumped onto his chest, “What is this right there?”

“A dark heart.”

“ . . .Like I said, a pansy.” Classy muttered while her whiskers twitched.

“Are you sure you don’t just like her because you have something in common?” Ed appealed while tilting his head slightly in wonder.

“There’s also that, but a few other reasons as well that I wish to keep to myself.” Classy jumped from his form then trotted out of the room.

“That girl acts like she’s the queen of this house.” Ed muttered with an amused glint in his eye, but it soon faded when his thoughts traced right back to his acquaintance; Echo, “I suppose I’ll just go out to eat then.”

Echo yawned setting her pencil down on her thick math text book, “Why does math have to be so complex?” She questioned no one while plopping down onto her back tiredly.

“It seems I won’t be able to visit Ed today.” This time she rolled onto her side while letting her fingers tap against the floor in thought. She was sure she wouldn’t have been missed, they barely knew each other anyway. So why would it matter? So why would her gut churn thinking about that she possibly has made a new friend? Echo closed her eyes shut tight trying to rid these foreign thoughts then slowly opened her eyes to spot the clock reading Midnight.

“I suppose I should go to sleep then . . .” Echo sleepily smiled while slipping off her skinny jeans and just went into bed with just her panties and a large t-shirt.

Saturday: the heavenly day for all teenagers. Saturdays equal sleeping in, and sleeping in equals to happy teenagers. Only Echo never got the reason why Saturdays were so brilliant, she thought Sundays were better since she got more sleep that day. While Saturday she still felt drowsy trying to catch up on sleep.

“Good morning!” A voice loudly sang through her simple home.

“Andrew.” Echo grumbled frustrated that she wouldn’t be able to get more sleep with his terrible singing. Roughly pulling the covers over her head she managed to muffle the singing but opened her eyes with trouble to hear the singing get louder. Then soon her door was slammed open.

“My dear sister.” He continued to sing as if he were in the movie ‘The Sound of Music.’, “It is morning and you should be up and going, don’t you think you should nourish your grumbling tummy?” His singing was beginning to get to her so she threw her feather filled pillow at his annoying face, but it seemed his singing never stopped.
