Chapter 4: when you had a nightmare ☁️

The whole strawhat crew was in deep slumber as the moonlight was beaming over the sea. The night was too calm and quiet and everyone was at a peaceful rest.

You and Zoro were in your room sleeping like a babies, but for you it quickly changed. It wasn't a calm or peaceful night for you anymore.

You were long lost in a horrible dream of yours and unable to wake up from it.

Your breath was hinging while your whole body was just oozing out sweat. You were leaving weak whimpering noises and Tears started to puddle in your eyes.

"Noooooo" you screamed, finally waking up from the nightmare and sat in the bed.

The next second, Zoro drawn his sword which was beside the bed near the night stand. His one arm was in front of me, pushing me behind him, protecting me. While the other one was hold the sword in defence.

I couldn't even process what was going on and started to cried my heart out.

"Baby, what happened? Why are you crying?" Zoro said, as he cupped my face, keeping his sword aside.

I opened my eyes and say Zoro's face. My tears started to flood away and I slobbed into Zoro's embrace, hugging him tightly.

"Honey.... Are you alright? What is it?" He slowly started to patted my head and caress my back.

"I- I-thought you-u were gone!!!!!" You could finally form the words but it made you cry even more.

"Huh?" Zoro looked confused. And it finally hit me. "Babe...... it's just a nightmare. It wasn't real. Look at me, see I'm completely fine" he said trying to calm me down.

"You have no idea how really it looked! Everything was gone! Everyone was-" you couldn't even finish the sentence as the death of each members flashed before you eyes.

"I need to go. I need to see if everyone is alive" you looked really pale like you saw a ghost. You started to climb out the bed to check on the crew. But Zoro stopped you. "Babe. Babe listen to me. It's really just a dream. Everyone will be sleeping now. Do you really want to wake them up?" Zoro asked as he was pulling me back to bed.

You looked around and everything looked normal, nothing like your dream.

Your anxiousness started to fade away.

Zoro pulled you back to his hug. "Tell me. What happened in the dream of yours, made my y/n get scared and cry like this?" Zoro said. I just say in his lap, laying my head in his chest. I took a deep breath.

"The sky looked really dark, like a storm was coming. Our whole ship was burning and there were splashes of blood everywhere. I was trying to wake everyone up but I couldn't. Luffy, Nami, sanji, Robin, chopper...... Everyone was dead. There was this one man who looked like a shadowy figure, covered in black flame. I could sense he is the one who did all this. His minions made you kneel in the ground, holding both of your hands.

You were badly hurt Zoro. There were cuts and blood all over you. That shadom was stood behind you. He draw his sword out and slid you throat right in front of me. That's when I woke up screaming......" It was the worst nightmare you ever had. It looked so realistic that you couldn't even accept that it was just a dream in the beginning.
You started to weep again in Zoro's shoulder.

"Baka! You really thought our crew would just die just like that? Us? The strawhats?" He cooed in my ears.

"No way in hell that it would happen. We have the world's best Sniper and a liar! The best love cook! The great speaking reindeer doctor which fights! The best navigation! The world's greatest swordsman and the greatest captain anyone could ever get! Nothing can stop us. Remember that. As long as we all are together, we'll always have each other's back" he said in a calm voice gaining my spirit back.

"This nonsense dream of yours will never happen. Not even in million years so don't let it to get to you. Okay?" He said. I nodded in response.

"Good' he smiled and kissed my forehead. "Let's do back to bed" Zoro said and pulled the sheets above us.

I squeezed myself into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist. Zoro holded me carefully. Patted me till I drifted back to sleep.
