There used to be a girl
With a wide heart
every morning she would sprint to the station
And wait until a train passed
She would wave with a wide smile on her face
To every passing window
She did not know if anyone was waving back
For the windows were too dark
One morning, like all the rest, her smile grew
as the train passed and she waved with joy
However, this time someone was waving back
Everyone was waving back
The darkened windows were now lit with
bright smiles and cheerful hands
The little girl's smile softened with the warmth of
The tears in which she shed
The train passed
And so did the girl just that evening
Her heart was so big it burdened her
And her life was so short it burdened everyone
