The person who I hadn't recognized was now sitting up. He looks over to us, I close my eyes pretending to be asleep, ignoring the uncomfortable feeling of my waist being held. I open one and see the boy gently smiling at us, then he whispers something, "You just might be the missing puzzle piece we were longing for, Ariel." I can't help but hide the blush as he continues to stare at us for a little longer.

"Noa? What are you guys doing in there?" I hear someone ask. 'Noa' points at us who are still 'sleeping' even though I'm awake.

"Ariel, they found him sound asleep and wanted to join him last night." 'Noa' says.

"Oh, well Alaric is looking for Colin and Austyn to talk about yesterday, so I would wake them up if I were before Al does." says the person.

"Haha, sure Ever." 'Noa' says. 'Ever' leaves and 'Noa' begins moving towards me and the others. "Austyn. Austyn! Hey! Wake up before Al finds you!" 'Noa' says with a teasing tone. This gets Austyn up in a flash.

"Huh?!" He says still partially asleep. "Not cool Kanoa. You know that Al has been looking for me and Colin since yesterday, don't you?" Austyn says slightly annoyed. "Huh?" Shit, I forgot about his hand. "Oh, I remember now," he smiles, "we found Ariel curled up in here all alone." He removes his hand from my waist (a relief really) and gently strokes my cheek. "I hope...he'll open up sooner rather than later..." Austyn says with a twinge of sadness intwined with those words.

"Don't worry Austy, he'll come around and we'll wait for him, forever how long it may take." says Kanoa. By now Colin and Jailen are up, leaving me, the only one left 'asleep'. I begin to pretend like I'm stirring, about to wake up.

"Well, I guess we better give him his space before he wakes up or else we might catch some claws." Austyn says sarcastically. I open my eyes slowly and yawn (I didn't plan on yawning).

"Morning kitten~" Austyn says smugly. God. It's too early for nicknames.

"Zip it." I say somewhat grumpily. I sit up and regret it, feeling a sharp pain in my back. Ow. I really shouldn't have fallen asleep on the floor.

"Dang Aus, you got rejected this early in the morning?" says Colin with a smirk on his face. Austyn makes a face like 'fuck you' but stays quiet, nonetheless.

"Hey, we should head to the dining room for breakfast, everyone else should already be there." Jailen exclaims, pointing out that it is time for breakfast. I follow the group at a somewhat close distance and avoid opening any conversations. We make it to the dining room, and I see two others already sitting at the table, neither are Alaric. The others take their seats at the table, I do the same and take a seat one chair away from everyone else. They look at me and I get anxious.

"Ariel...is something wrong? Why are you sitting so far from us?" says a boy with aqua green eyes. I look at him confused because I don't exactly know who he is quite yet. "Oh, sorry, I'm Robin." He exclaims with a smile.

"Oh, hi Robin..." I say quietly. The reason why I'm sitting away from them is because I was never allowed to eat as part of a large group, so I always just sat to the side and watched from a far, I guess it became a force of habit through the years.

"Hey! That's unfair! How come he says hello to Robin in the sweetest way possible but acts like a wild cat with me?" Colin and Austyn say simultaneously.

"Maybe cause you two haven't left him alone once since he got here." Jailen says smugly pointing a fork towards them. I can't help but giggle a little. They all become quiet and look at me.

"Holy. Fucking. Shit. That was the cutest thing ever!" Colin and Austyn say smiling and laughing at themselves along with the others, I don't know when, but I ended up joining them. Robin comes to his senses first and tells me, "See? We're just a bunch of goofballs, especially those two." He says smiling brightly.
