Faith:
"It smells like straight weed!"
Tanner looked at me as I yelled to him over the loud music blasting from inside and out of whoever's house this was.
"Well that's kinda what's fun about a party Faith haha!"
He interlocked our fingers and we walked into the house. The first sight I get is of a couple on the couch making out as the girl straddled his lap. I shook my head and followed Tanner into the kitchen. He stopped next to a tall dirty blonde guy with really attractive emerald green eyes.
He spoke perfect english but he had an accent of some sort because he pronounced things differently.
"Yeah. Uh this is Faith. Faith this is Chris."
"Hi."
He smiled at me and responded. Tanner walked over to the fridge and grabbed two beers. He came back over to me and held one out to me. I hesitated but grabbed it anyways. Sure I'm under age but its a highschool party so why not?
I opened the bottle and sipped some. Ew.
"Haha. Too much for you?"
"No. No I'm fine."
I took another sip and we walked out of the kitchen. As tanner stood there talking to his friends and basically showing me off to them I saw cassidy. She was turned around but she's the only girl I know with the hair colors she has. I walked over to where she was standing with some guy.
"Cass? What are you doing here?"
"Hey Faith! I...me and Jonathan w- we got invited by Chris and-"
"You're so drunk."
"Oh I'm not....I'm not um...I'm not that drunk faith!"
I chuckled at the way she slurred her words but I was also worried. She always hated drinking and now all of a sudden she's drunk.
"So you're Jonathan right?!"
The guy looked at me and nodded
"Yeah. I am. I've been tryna get Cassidy to let me take her home but she doesn't wanna leave."
I looked at him and we laughed. I looked at cassidy who was nearly asleep standing up.
"Cassy! You should let Jonathan take you home! I'm getting ready to leave myself. We were supposed to go shopping tomorrow"
"Oooo shopping! I loooovvveee shopping. Take me home johnny"
I smiled at how easy I got cassidy to want to leave. I know her like the back of my hand.
I walked away and saw that tanner wasn't where he was before. I walked around the house looking for him then I found Chris.
"You good faith?"
"Yeah but where's tanner?"
"Oh I think he went into one of the guest rooms upstairs. He said he was gonna pass out until you were ready to go."
"Okay thanks"
Really? He brought me to the party he wanted to go to and then leaves me?
I walked around again trying to find the stairs. I managed to get to them and make my way up. I walked down peeking into the rooms until I saw tanner in one of the rooms laying on the bed. I walked to the door and knocked on the wall. He got up and smiled at me.
"Hey. I was just getting pretty worn out. I didn't wanna bug you if you were having fun"
I walked into the room.
