We made it to my house fast enough, said hi to my nan, and strolled into my room, which I guess I had been accidentally cleaning since Sam last came over. "Jeez, your bedroom's tidier than mine right now, dude," He sat down, rubbing his hands up and down his thighs as he looked around, pausing his gaze at the patchy, and recently somewhat visible walls, "no more naked females?" He giggled.

"No, not any more, it was kind of creepy getting watched while I slept, got changed, etcetera etcetera."

"Yeah, I know the feeling. I used to share a room with Ben."

We chatted for a while longer, our banter surrounding class mates and things that we had to study mostly, but it didn't last long, seeing as we had stopped talking to each other for only about a day. "So um... do you have any hobbies?"

"Hobbies? What is this? A first date?" I realised the irony of what I had said, and died a little bit on the inside from embarrassment.

"Yeah, your right, sorry."

"No! Don't apologise." We sat in silence for a while longer.

"Hey Colby?"

"Yeah?" I already knew what he was going to ask me.

"When we were running out of the school, you were grabbing my arm and sprinting out-"

"Very sorry about that."

"- you said something to me, but I couldn't hear it because of the wind."

There it was.

Blood rushed to my face. The truth was, I had basically confessed to Sam that I had feelings for him, and I know what your going to say: "It wasn't the right setting! You did it terribly" but shut up.

"I uhgg... just was t-talking about the weather," I looked out of the conveniently open window to my left, "yeah. Isn't it such pleasant weather that we're having?"

"Colby," he looked at me, seriously, "why the hell did you just say 'pleasant'?"

I giggled nervously.

"B-b-beacause... it's a word...?" My voice cracked, and I felt a bit of sweat drip down my forehead. It was stupid, but this was probably the most nervous that I had ever felt.

"What's wrong, Colby?" Sam took slow, but large steps towards me as soon as he stood up. He had that sweet, sincere tone that I loved, but he had a smirk on his face that hadn't seen before. Each step he took, closer and closer to me, was filled with a confidence that I could never have had, and it seemed unlike him... and a little bit sensual. "Forget me, are you ok?" My face was becoming less and less red with the question.

He immediately flinched back into a standing position, with his arms, and legs resting regularly. "I'm sorry, am I being weird? I don't know what came over me. I've just been feeling really confused recently," he seemed to anticipate my next question, "about everything."

"I understand," I sighed.

"At least I have you. You get me. Thank you, Colby."

I don't know whether it was the fact that he said my name when he spoke, or if it was the way he looked at me with his watercolour eyes, but it made me want to kiss him again. So I did.

(Get smacked by another cliff-hanger, suckers. Second hell week videooooo)
