Part 12- Bundles of Joy

As Sai's due date for delivery came close Virat started to do office work from home. Ekta and Manvi also tried to stay as much as time possible at home. Devi finally shifted to Chavan house so to look after both Sai and Disha. Disha understood that Momma needed rest so she also started to trouble Bua instead of Momma. Virat keeps Sai always in front of his eyes from the day he noticed that she was facing problems in keeping her balance while walking and her belly grew huge so she couldn't see her twos. He literally started to carry her around the house much to Sai's embarrassment and annoyance.

One day when Sai got up from her afternoon nap she couldn't see anyone near her. She looked at the watch and saw that that day she woke up sometime earlier than other days. She started to search for others as she knew that it cant be possible that everyone would leave home leaving her alone with servants. She heard a noise coming from Virat's study which was adjacent to their room and connected by a door with their bedroom. 

She entered there and was surprised to see the scene unfold in front of her eyes. She saw everyone was there Virat. Ekta, Manvi, Devi, Ranveer and little Disha. Everyone was busy painting the room and decorating the walls with colorful cartoons and all. Even little Disha was also holding a little brush and painting the wall beside her father and uncle while her aunts were busy drawing in already painted walls. 

Devi who was a good painter was drawing cartoon figures on one dried wall while others were planning to stick some on the wall. That day she came to know about the nursery all were preparing for coming twins and she also joined them after that day by selecting furniture like one double crib for twins, Baby cots,  perambulators, chest of drawers, a baby wardrobe etc.

 they stocked nappies, toys, diapers, a few dresses etc. They created a beautiful nursery to welcome twins. They also created a nursery for Disha previously but only after her birth but this time they were too excited to wait. Obviously, the fun fight among family members increased every passing day regarding the gender of twins. Manvi wanted two beautiful nieces, Devi wanted a nephew and a niece, and Ekta wanted two nephews. 

Sai liked the idea of one boy and a girl but Virat wanted two boys. In a quarry from Devi regarding this, he said he already has a princess so he wants boys this time so that he can get some support in the future in this ladies-dominated house. But only Sai knew the real reason. Virat didn't want a girl as he feared if any other girl came then Disha could be compared with her in the future and he didn't want his princess to face that.

Sai's gynecologist recommended a C-section this time as Sai has a small frame, there are twins and she had a little complication during her first delivery. So before one day Sai's scheduled surgery she was admitted to hospital and Virat also shifted with her. Devi, Ekta and Manvi had a tough time handling Dishti, her cries and questions as she never stayed away from both her parents. So Virat had to come home to make his princess calm and make her feed and sleep.

The next day as per plan Sai was moved to the operation table in the morning. Virat also joined her with the permission of the doctors after changing into hospital gowns. The whole Chavan and Joshi family were waiting outside. Dishti was also sitting quietly in Devi's lap. In the operation theater, Sai applied spinal anesthesia so that only her lower body part would be senseless but she would remain in her senses and can see everything. Instead of seeing the operation the couple became lost in each other's eyes and in their memory lane. 

After they realized their love for each other they faced a lots of things and were here when soon they got living symbols of their love, their flesh and blood. Their reverie broke when they heard the cry of their babies. The doctor congratulated them and informed them that they had twin healthy bouncing boys. Virat smiled kissed his wife and murmured "God heard my prayer and I won wify. Thank you for this beautiful saugat, today our family is complete with our daughter and two sons" 

He then went to take their bundles of joy which the nurse already cleaned and wrapped in white sheets. He came back to Sai with their sons in his arms. They both said "beautiful" for them that was the most beautiful sight. Virat kissed their forehead and Sai did the same. After Sai wheeled back to her cabin Virat carried their twins out of the OT to show their waiting family members.

 When he reached there celebration was already going on as they already got the news. Ekta and Manvi ordered sweets for the whole hospital and all the stuff for Chavan Enterprises throughout the world. None tried to take the boys from their father's arms as they already knew from past experience that their father would not allow that. 

Dishti was super excited as she became an elder sister of two brothers. Virat kneeled down and sat on his knees at the level of his daughter so that she could see her brothers and she touched their little tows gingerly with her little hand "Thank you Papa I wanted one and you gave me two brothers. You are the best Papa." His eyes became teary and he prayed to God to let him remain to be the best Papa for all his children, especially his daughter.
