Desperate Househusbands

Jake runs the stairs down into the basement, through and down into the portal room.
He's halfway to the lift, when Jazapie's light catches him and takes him into the light.

Jazapie rushes them to the corridor outside Goreapine's suite so fast, Jake heaves as soon as he's matter.

Jazapie sways and uses Jake to get his balance back as Jake wipes his mouth, "Geez, Angel, it's not even that far."

Jazapie knocks with the knocker once, "They are in distress."

Hank opens the door letting the mix of screams, crying, yiping, howling and random barking out.

Jazapie pulls Jake in by the arm.

Tyres and Goreapine pace the floor with babies as Romon sits on the sofa rubing her head.

Goreapine worries, "They can't eat, Honey."

Jake hurries to him and pets the little golden girl's head, "They ate before."

Elora settles to sniffles and the others ease off.

Jazapie shakes his head, "Sorry, Tyres, I should have got him sooner."

Tyres fusses, "Don't apologize, make him happy."

Jake chuckles, "Oh, yeah, get me good."

The babies all settle to sniffles and Romon leans back, "Thank you."

Jazapie shines red over them, "They are eating fine now.
"Like mother's milk.

"The artificial is not going to do. "Their either too picky or their needs are just too exact.
"Jake has to feed them at least until they get more body systems up and going."

Jake chuckles, "Ya all are just making it up to make learn infant care."

Jazavine burps adorably as Catamaria gives a big yawn.

Jazapie shakes his head, "Let's hope this isn't the going to happen for all your kids."

Jake shrugs, "Might just be a spouse's kids thing.
"So what happen with my other two?"

Romon turns to glare of big eyes up at him, "I will shave you head and sell you as a prize fighter, if you're even daring to put me in that."

Tyres chuckles, "That was the weakest threat you've ever made, huh?"

Jake huffs, "She just getting to know me better."
He points at her, "Stay away from my hair.
"We're siblings from Eric, but my husband's kids are my kids."

Jazapie sounds like he choked on his laugh, "Husband?"

Jake shrugs, "Seems to work.
"You started it, calling me wife.

"Anyway, back on point.
"What happened?"

Romon turns back around, "I'm not really sure.
"I was working on the computer and someone grabbed me from behind.
"That was shocking, I've never been snuck up on before.

"I flipped him over onto the table and he flipped over and came at me.
"We struggled a bit, then I started yelling at him.
"He was doing that weird hyper focused thing where his eyes don't move and he doesn't talk.

"Was a hard fight.
"But he wasn't really attacking, just trying to get ahold of my head.
"When he did, he put his thumbs on my eyes and I passed out.

"I can tell ya he took something from my brain and left me a psychotic headache."

Jazapie shakes his head, "There's nothing missing from your brain.
"There's no reason for you to have a headache.
