This all started a few months after the show. It was september and the leafs had started falling.
I walked slowly. It was quit cold so I wore a warm jacket. It was late, and well, I was late. My friends were waiting, but I felt no pressure. I took my time. I didn't like them that much, they were all so, well, I had nothing in common with them.
I wore headphones, as I always do. I had a playlist I replayed all the time, but when this one song came along, something inside of me started grooving, everytime.
It was the song, "Rhythm Inside", by Loïc Nottet, the belgian boy. I first saw him in the semi final with my friends, and my heart skipped from the very first beat... everything about his performance was incredible. His facial movements, his feelings, the choreography, the lighting, the dancers. Him.
They laughed, my friends. "His not that good looking, Hedwig", they said. But there was something with him that made me fall in love with him. As with so many other girls.
After the finals I was fulled with the cute belgian singer. His song was on repeat all day, and it was what I listened to when I fell asleep. I watched every interview, followed evert fan-account on twitter and started my own on instagram. It was silly, but I loved it.
The months passed and I noticed that for everyday, we got fewer. The Loïcers weren't so many anymore.

I looked infront of me, I saw my friends house just down the street. I could have runned, but I walked. The beat from the song was all over me, and I felt like if he warmed me up. It was lovely.
I heard something from the back. I turned around and saw a black taxi driving against me. I stopped right in front of me and the door opened.
"Excuse me", said the short driver. "I don't know where I am, and I'm supposed to pick up this girl"
"Oh", I said. I didn't know why this driver made me so calm, usually I would have been so scared. "Where does she live?"
The driver told me the adress, and I recognized it. It was one or two km from where we stood, next to the local store. I should have just told him, and then walked to my friends, but instead I said "I can help you, I can guide you from the car". It was all very strange.
The short driver started smiling, and whispered "yes please".
We said nothing during our ride, it was just when we finally reached to the girl's house he thanked me. He pushed the flasher, and this really loudy sound came out. The door in the house opened and a girl ran out with three huge bags.
"I'm so, so sorry I'm late", she said when she opened the door. When she looked at me she raised one eyebrow, and said "I thought I booked a lonely cab, well, only for me"
The driver started laughing, but I got nervous and walked out.
"Sorry", I said. "I just showed him the way, he got lost. I can walk home"
We accidently bumped into eachother and I lost my phone, right on the ground.
"Oh god, I'm so sorry", she said. She reached for the phone and took it up. "I looks okay", she said. I took the phone, smiled and opened it to see if it was okay. I had Loïc as my lock screen, which she must have seen.
"Oh my god", she said. "You like him?", she continued. I sarted smiling, I hadn't met anyone crasy about Loïc where I lived.
"Yes, of course", I said.
"Oh my god", she said again. "Have you ever seen him live?" she continued with a huge smile.
"No", I said. "He only has his conserts in Belgium, and I have no money.."
The girl could have said "oh me too", or something ordinary, but what she said chanched my life forever.
"You're not going to believe me, and well, this is so weird. I can't believe that I'm asking you this, but I'm going to Belgium right now. I'm going to see him. I was going with my friend, but that bastard backed out. So..", she said... ".. I have another ticket. Would you like to follow?"
