TRIGGER WARNINGS: Blood, mentions of stabbing
Izuku's POV
Urgh, I messed up. Badly. I was just patrolling like usual when a villain got the drop on me. He stabbed me in the side. If I hadn't dodged, he would've stabbed into my spinal cord.Usually this wouldn't be a problem because of my reaction speed and skills, and it kind of wasn't. I swerved around the villain and knocked out the villain quickly using his pressure points. Unfortunately for me, his Quirk deactivates platelets so the knife wounds I got from him are still bleeding.
I stumble on a rooftop, finding it safer to jump down into an alley to treat my wounds. I couldn't staunch the bleeding, so I was in a bit of trouble. On top of that, I can hear Eraserhead close by. He must've followed the blood trail.
"Kurai?"
Crap. I need to leave, now. Futilely holding my side (where the knife stabbed), I rush from one alley to the next. I know these streets like the back of my hand. There's no way I'm getting caught. Not today, not ever.
Aizawa's POV
I was on my usual patrol route. Buildings, alleyways, more buildings, trail of blood... WAIT, WHAT?!!The bloodstains led me to a certain vigilante leaning heavily against an alley wall, with a villain tied up nearby.
"Kurai?" I don't believe what's going on. I run towards him, but at my voice, he flinched and bolted away.
I chase after him. As I run, we're getting farther and farther away from my usual patrol space. I don't know where we are. But with Kurai's injury, I manage to keep pace with him.
My determination to catch Kurai faded into worry for him. He hadn't spoken once since I started chasing, unusual for him, and he's bleeding a lot. I can hear his ragged breathing. It's soft, but he's breathing hard. This worries me. By now, he should have either started throwing taunts or glitter bombs at me or at least stopping the bleeding while running.
Izuku's POV
This is not good. Not good at all. As Eraser was hot on my tail, I could feel the blood loss getting to me. With no way out, despair started to take over.I don't wanna be caught. Not by those fake heroes. Who will save people then..?
But Eraserhead is a nice hero... But he'll find out my identity... And I'll lose my freedom...
I can't... I can't move my legs... It feels like I'm moving in syrup...
The darkness took over me.
Aizawa's POV
Kurai started slowing down. The next thing I knew, he fell forward and was out like a light."Kurai?!" I was shocked, to say the least. His blood had started to pool around him, and I ran over, trying to help him.
"Kurai! Wake up!" I yell, picking him up.
"S-sorry... D-don't take me to t-the hospital..." Kurai mumbles, before he loses consciousness again.
Sh*t! What should I do?! Okay, first I should take off his mask and top to check for wounds...
I unclasp his mask.
"What the h*ll?"
I'm so sorry this chapter was so short. I know I kinda promised 600+ words per chapter but I can't think of anything else and this seems like a nice place to stop. I'm not in the right frame of mind as I'm writing this. I kind of liked writing this, though.
Word Count: 614 (but it's actually less than that. Thanks to the A/N and stuff.)
