20 minute crossover time before next class, then 15 minute break before tap, I can probably do some history in between if I get my sources up now, but I should also do some biology study...
I argue with myself as I try and keep in time with the other dancers, still sloppy from my weeks without practise. The music stops and we all freeze in our positions, thank gosh. "Good work girls, from the top one more time then you can go home"
The music starts back up again and we all run back to our starting positions, my legs feel like deflated bubble wrap if that's even possible. One two three four, one two three four. I count to myself, keeping up with everyone best I can. I can feel myself being out of sync with the others, feel my mistakes sticking out like a sore thumb. I need more practise, I think. I will have to find time to get back into the swing of things.
