Why her?

At last the blonde finally raises her head from her desk, and is welcomed to an empty classroom. She proceeds to rub the sleep from her eyes, until she heard someone talk from beside her, which made her jump in her seat.

"Finally, you're awake, i thought you would spend the night here." Her best friend says sarcastically.

"Oh My God, Momo don't do that again, if you want your best friend to be alive and healthy, and why didn't you wake me up. " Chaeyoung says snarkly but still a bit flustered.

"I knew there would be no use trying to wake you up, so I just waited." The dark haired girl explained.

Chaeyoung sleeps like a bulldozer but she was wrong, the blonde knew she was the only person that could successfully wake her up, anytime the blonde hears her voice in her sleep, the tiredness clears away instantly, but her best friend isn't aware.

"But you didn't have to wait, i thought you had practice?" The blonde questions.

"Nah coach said we should take a day off, cause of yesterday's win, i know watching you sleep isn't the best way to spend my day off from training but what if someone tries to hurt you, don't you remember last time when i caught that creep taking panty shots of you."

I blushed hard but i doubt Momo noticed since she's colour blind. She still isn't aware of the way she drives me crazy, I'm helplessly in love with her but i know better than to say anything if i want things to remain the same between us.

"No one can do that anymore since I've stopped wearing skirts." The blonde says reassuring her friend.

But Chaeyoung knows that's not the reason she stopped wearing skirts, she's planning on telling Momo the real reason but that's a story for another day.

"But I really liked how you looked in them!" Momo says reminiscing.

"Lets get out of here before i go back to sleep." Chaeyoung says yawning into her sentence.

"Try it and I'll drag you around with your damaged hair." Momo says putting one fist up while glaring at the younger girl.

Chaeyoung glares back putting one fist up as well.

The girls start arguing about something as they leave the school building heading to Momo's car.

"I'm sure you could fit in my trunk." The black haired girl comments.

"If you don't shut up I'll slash your tyres." The shorter girl says already fuming.

"And how would you get home?" The older girl says confidently.

"As long as you're miserable I'm good." The blonde says bitterly.

"Easy there emo midget." Momo says with two hands up as if surrendering.

"I know you're using me just to tell you the colour of the traffic light." The blonde says sounding annoyed.

"But you know my dad can't let me drive without a passenger, and you're the only one I can trust to tell me the truth." The older girl says trying to explain.

Chaeyoung's heart fluttered at the older's words 'the only one i can trust'.

"I get it, i was just trying to make you feel guilty, but see how the tables have turned." The younger says jokingly.

Momo chuckles and says "Let's get out of here i think i can smell rain."

"Okay soothsayer." The blonde says sarcastically.

Momo and Chaeyoung's parents are best friends, so they decided to live opposite eachother which made it more convenient for the best friends as well, which is why momo drives chaeyoung home.
