Izuku's POV
It's been, what, about two or three months since Dadzawa and Pops adopted me. It's almost a new school year. Which means that the UA entrance exams are coming up. I don't think the academic portion will be hard for me, nor will it be for Toshi. I've been tutoring him. If you ask him, he'll say that the studying I put him through is torture, but don't listen to him, it's not that bad.

For the practical portion, I had Dadzawa teach me how to use his capture scarf. In about five days I could tie him up using it, but I don't really like using ranged weapons. I'm going to mainly use double-wield melee weapons like daggers and escrima sticks. I'm not sure whether I should also use my katana, so I'll just bring it just in case. Oh and I have been training Toshi, don't believe him when he says it was h*ll on earth. It was totally reasonable training.

-Timeskip to the day of the entrance exams brought to you by Toshi having trauma from Izuku's tutoring and training (jk)-

It's finnaly the day of the entrance exam. The academic portion was pretty easy. I flew through the questions, only stopping at the last one. 'Provide an analysis about a hero of your choice.' Ohh this should be fun!

(A/N: Skip this if you want, it's just analysis.) 'Shouta Aizawa. Known as the underground pro-hero Eraserhead. His Quirk is Erasure, which gives him the ability to nullify another person's Quirk by looking at the user. The effects of this Quirk can still last even if his line of vision is out of range.

While powerful, this ability has many drawbacks, which are that Erasure deactivates if he blinks, his Quirk gives him a bad dry eye, forcing him to blink more often when he uses the power continuously. Most Mutant-type Quirks are immune to Erasure, given that these Quirks are often passively active in a way that can't be negated. Erasure has zero effect on any strength or abilities that don't originate from Quirks. Erasure makes Eraserhead's hair stand on end while it is active, allowing his enemies to see when his Quirk is active or not. This Quirk has no offensive potential. The Quirk Factor lies within Eraserhead's eyes, so if one or both are damaged or destroyed, he cannot effectively use Erasure.

Eraserhead has incredible combat prowess and ingenuity that makes him one of the most formidable teachers and Pro Heroes at U.A. High. His usual battle tactic consists of canceling an opponent's Quirk and then using his Capturing Weapon in conjunction with his high agility to easily defeat or restrain his adversaries. Even without the aid of his Quirk, Eraserhead relies on his proficiency in hand-to-hand combat, excelling in close quarters combat. His overall abilities make him a pivotal combatant in situations that involve his opponents being solely Quirk-reliant, and with him creating openings by negating their powers in the midst of battle, him and his comrades are put into advantageous positions. (A/N: This was taken from the MHA Fandom wiki.)

Personal nicknames for him: Dadzawa or CATerpillar!' Okay, I'm done. I then notice that the test paper is exactly 42 pages. Seriously? Anyways, I check my work, notice that I have like 2 hours left, and I go up to Cementoss who is the invigilator.

"Um, I finished my paper, may I leave early?"

"Um, you can, but are you sure you're really done? There's a lot of time left, you may want to check your answers." Cementoss looks surprised, I'm not sure whether it's because I finished the exam so early or because I nearly startled him half to death by sneaking up on him.

"No, I'm done, thanks!" I quickly go out of the room.

I'm walking aimlessly around campus when I see a dog-mouse-bear coming towards me. The chimera looks mildly surprised at seeing me here.

"By any chance, have you finished the written exam already?"

"Yup, and it was cool to see that the test had 42 pages! You must be Principal Nezu?" I asked.

"Yes, and you must be Aizawa's adopted child, Izuku Midoriya, better known as the vigilante Kurai."

"It's no wonder that you know, did Dadzawa or Tsukachi tell you?"

"Aizawa did, when he asked for the adoption forms. I never did find out your identity before that, which is why you're so interesting."

"I'm honoured, Principal Nezu. I simply just wiped all traces of my identity."

"Very interesting. Would you like to play a game of chess with me?" Nezu's eyes glimmered, and I accepted, being the chess nerd I am. I actually ended up narrowly winning, with both sides losing many pieces. I just barely managed to checkmate his king before he checkmated mine.

"That was a nice game of chess, I expect to see you in UA, Midoriya-kun. I know that you'll be a good student." Nezu smiles, and I find myself wondering if I just made a deal with the devil. Well, it's not as if I can't blackmail him anyways. Parting ways, I go over to the site where the practical part of the tests are taken. We have to sit through a briefing by Pops first.

"Excuse me, may I ask why there is a fourth robot in the pamphlet that you didn't cover? And you with the headphones, it's disrespectful to use those when he's speaking! Please take them off!" A blue-haired guy with glasses stands up.

"Okay, first of all, Present Mic didn't finish talking, please wait for him to explain the fourth kind of robot which is presumably a zero-pointer to test us. Secondly, I need my headphones or I can hear literally everyone's breathing, heartbeats and other sounds in this hall. You could compare it to Mic screaming into both your ears. It's basically a sensory overload. Does that answer your question?" I calmly answer. (A/N: I know at this moment Iida seems a bit harsh, but please don't roast him. He's just a bit too strict. But he's not a jerk unlike one certain angry pomeranian)

"I am sorry for misjudging you! And sorry for the interruption!" He does a 90-degree bow, and sits down again.

...

"AND... BEGIN!!" At the sound of Pop's voice, I dash into the fake city. I can hear him yelling to the other candidates over the speaker. "WHAT'S WRONG? THE TEST'S STARTED!! THE DIE IS CAST! EXAMINEE 9813 HAS THE RIGHT IDEA!! RUN!!"

"There's no countdown in real life!" I call back as I'm already dashing off. The other contestants come to a slow start and also run into the field.

I'm incapacitating robots quickly, these are sooo much easier to defeat than the average street thug, and the stronger ones barely hold a candle to low-level villains. I also save quite some people along the way. I'm axe kicking a three-pointer when I see a HUGE robot rising up. Like, WHAT THE HECK, NEZU?! I mean, this ain't too bad, but what about the other candidates who, I don't know, have ZERO experience fighting villains half as strong as that!! Seriously! I dash forward, saving whoever's trapped by the rubble and getting others away from the giant robot.

I pull up a brown-haired girl who's trapped under debris, checking her for injuries, comforting her, and then running off as soon as she got away.

"Okay, everyone's out of the way, time to deal with this huge pile of scrap metal." I scale the metal beast quickly, stopping every now and then to target its joints. I dash up to the control panel and start fiddling with the control panel. The whole robot shuts down as I dramatically backflip off the robot's head, crashing right into one last three-pointer as the exam ends.

Yay Izu's gonna be in UA! I'm not really sure if this is straying away from my original plot as a vigilante story, but I hope y'all enjoy it nonetheless. Thanks for staying to read this story, it means soo much to me.
