Captured by Anubis (Revised)

"So let's go back in time, but what year?" Amelie asked. Kira looked over at her wardrobe and thought: "What if we didn't think about a year, but just walked through the portal?"

Somehow Amelie had a bad feeling, but Kira thought her suggestion was harmless. After a long discussion, Amelie agreed and they stood in front of the wardrobe.

Kira slowly opened the old wooden doors and the two of them looked deep inside the cupboard. It was very fascinating that at first you could see the clothes as normal and then suddenly in the next moment a time portal.

By the way, this portal only appears if the person standing in front of the cupboard knows something about ghosts or werewolves. It's strange that the closet can detect this, but that wasn't important right now.

Each of them quickly thought of something other than what they were about to do, not about time travel. Kira thought hard about Night Star and Amelie about the next physics test. At least Kira's thought to distract her wasn't so terrible.

As they stepped through, they both felt a strange tingling sensation running through their bodies. After a while this stopped and a bright light blinded the girls.

Her eyes slowly adjusted to the light and they could feel the warmth of the sunlight.

Kira was the first to open her eyes completely and screamed, "Ah! We are in ancient Egypt!" Amelie also suddenly opened her eyes and looked around in shock.

Sure enough, they were standing in front of the Swings, one of the largest pyramids in the world. When they looked up, they felt like little Lego figures.

Unfortunately, the beautiful view was suddenly disrupted. People ran frantically towards Kira and Amelie. The people were probably some subjects of Anubis or another known god.

Amelie quickly realized that they were subjects of Anubis, because he was running ahead.

Anubis is easily recognizable by his was scepter and ankh, at least he wears them often. By the way, he is the son of the god Osiris and Nephthys, a god in Egyptian mythology. Ancient Egyptian texts refer to him as the god of embalming, mummification, the afterlife, tombs and the underworld. He is sometimes depicted with a ram's head, but this is rare.

Kira thought it was great to stand in front of this pharaoh, but Amelie was panicking. Frightened, she ran away from Anubis. Kira was confused and I followed frantically.

"Why are we running away? "I've always wanted to talk to a pharaoh!" Kira said out of breath.
Amelie stared at me and replied: "Think about it! We probably pose a threat to the Egyptians, after all, we look different than the people here!"

Suddenly Kira panicked too and they ran as fast as they could.

Unfortunately, these Egyptians were very quick and were caught after just a few minutes.

Anubis stepped forward and looked at the two reproachfully. Amelie said: "Dear Anubis, we don't want to harm you. Are we looking for a clue about ghosts and werewolves? Probably sounds nasty crazy, but these characters exist, could they please help? "

Apparently Anubis didn't find this speech very friendly, because Kira and Amelie were quickly carried to a pyramid.

After about 5 minutes they were set down and pushed into the interior of the pyramid by the subject. Now Kira and Amelie were stuck in the pyramid and couldn't get out.

Amelie said: "I think we can only do one thing, go further in and look for an exit." Kira looked into the darkness and nodded hesitantly.
