     "What?"

"He likes you." Felix repeats. "And he doesn't like it when he likes someone. Not romantically of course. It's even worse when it's romantic." Seungmin nods silently at the boy's statement, looking up at the back of Chris' head. The next group went by much quicker, and Mrs. Kang went on to explain the project.

"You all have to get together and spend a while with your partner. As long as you can or need to learn as much as you can about their life. Once you do, write a short story, poem, or song about how you would describe that person's life. You have until the last week of the semester to finish. Which sounds like a lot, but we are nearing the end of the school year. When you are ready to present all 8 of you will come up to the front and take turns with your partner reading the stories you wrote about each other's life." The bell rings, and they go on to their next class, but soon school was over.

They all met in the middle of the hallway, and started to discuss where they would meet up to start on the story. "We all have dorms, but they're too small for 8 people."

     "Chris has a house."

Chris looks over at Felix without saying a word, and despite the situation they still had those cold glares on their faces. Then Chris' phone rings. He slips it out of his pocket, stares at it for a second, and then puts it back. He leans over and whispers something into Minho's ear.

"Please excuse us. Our story will have to be postponed to tomorrow." Minho bows and walks off with everyone following him. Jeongin peeks behind them before they walk out of the school and gets into the car.

"What's the mission?" Jeongin asks as Chris starts the car.

"18-year-old Cheol Joowon. Charged for murder and manslaughter but got bailed out. From what we've heard he'll be at the college party tonight."

"Why would he be there?" Felix asks.

"There was a witness to his murder. But they escaped alive. The witness is the host of the party and there's no way he would be going to the party just to have fun. Our host has a scar on his neck he got from Joowon before he escaped. That's how we find him."

     "Where's the party?" Minho questions.

"An hour or two away from my house."

"Then we can head there now, right?" Felix asks, and Chris shakes his head.

"We have to stop by the house first." As Chris pulls up to their house, he makes everyone sit on the couch and wait for him. Chris comes back out with a rack of black clothes. "It's a party for our college, so if we go there like this, they'll recognize us."

"If they don't recognize us would that not raise more questions?" Minho asks, and Chris nods, leaving them confused.

"The point is to be seen... but not to be recognized." Everyone nods, seemingly understanding what he said. He steps to the side, pointing to the clothes. "Now pick out your outfits." They all stand up and rummage through the clothes before they go into separate rooms and change. Soon they all come out and sit back on the couch.

Felix chose first. Long, fingerless laced gloves, short sleeved shirt and cargo pants. He combed his hair back, put on glasses with fake lenses, and sneakers.

Jeongin chose second. A white long-sleeved shirt, short sleeved hoodie, and jeans. He put on a cap and converse.

Minho chose third. Tucked in white short sleeved shirt, dress pants and a half skirt. He redid his eyeliner, put on earrings, and high tops.

Chris chose last. A half-tucked dress shirt, one unbuttoned button, jeans and laced boots. Bracelets, rings, earrings, and he parted his hair down the middle.

Lastly, Chris hands them all a black mask and puts one on himself. "Are we ready to go?" He asks, and the rest of them nod.

                                               Back at the dorms

"Do you guys know about the party at our seniors house?" Changbin asks, and they nod. "Are we gonna go?"

"Probably yeah." Jisung says, and the other two shrug. "Come on get up. Get dressed."

"Why do you want to go?" Seungmin groans as Jisung tugs on his and Hyunjin's sleeves.

"Cause I'm bored and we literally have nothing else to do. You can borrow something from my closet if you don't have anything to wear." Seungmin stands up and walks over to the boy's closet, picking out some clothes and walking to the bathroom. Hyunjin goes back to his and Seungmin's dorm to change. After all of the are finished, Hyunjin meets them back in Jisung and Changbin's room.

Hyunjin was wearing a black turtleneck with a white dress shirt over top. Four buttons unbuttoned. With jeans and sneakers. He puts on a necklace and many rings; he left his hair in the half up half down ponytail Seungmin did in the morning.

Changbin was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, leather jacket, cargo pants and a belt around his waist with converse.

Jisung was wearing a cropped blue dress shirt with a black tucked undershirt. Leather pants, a belt and earrings. And he brushes a light amount of blush over his nose and cheeks.

Seungmin was wearing a brown cropped hoodie that left his waist bare and jeans, which Jisung still thought was boring. So, he gave Seungmin a choker that the younger refused to put on, but he ended up wearing it anyways. Jisung brushes out the boy's brown hair and swipes lip gloss on his lips.

They all leave the college and get into Changbin's car where they begin to drive to their destination. The shadows were leaving at the same time as well.

The first car sung along to the radio and laughed with each other while the second car stayed silent with deadly looks on their faces. One was looking forward to the party the other was not. One wanted to get there and have fun, for the other... the least they could hope for was leaving the party with everyone in the building alive. Except one.

It was then that the shadows needed to know that they met the right people. It just... wasn't the right time.
