Saccharine and Vinegary

Chapter 1

At 8 am o'clock a voice woke up the boy who was sleeping hugging his pillow.

'Honey wake up you are going to be late. '

The boy jerked up from his bed and said 'Oh shit! I am late. Great. '

As he got up from the bed.

The boy thought Today is a first day of college and I am late goodness gracious why didn't Ethan woke me up and I swear the reason he didn't because he didn't want to. Ethan is always Ethan. Just you wait cold face you ll regret this. I should just get up and get ready. I just have an a hour. 

At 8:30 am o'clock.

After getting ready and wearing casual t-shirt and jeans he went to the kitchen counter as their family cook should have prepared his breakfast there.

The boy saw Rylee sitting there using his phone and doing god knows what.

The boy said 'Hey Rylee. You good. '

Rylee faced the boy and smiled mischeviously as he said 'Hey. I am good but seems someone is in a very bad mood.'

The boy picked up his breakfast and started eating his same old Greek yogurt, oatmeal and berries.

The boy 'Don't mention it Rylee. I am fucking going to beat the hell out of him. '

'Hahahaha Good Good. Someone is going to get it good today.'

The boy 'Hmmph.'

Rylee said 'Hehehe. Who is going to drive today?'

The boy replied 'Oliver. '

As the boy mentioned Oliver's name Rylee seemed to be in a daze but he recovered quickly and the boy also didn't pressed him to say about it.

As the boy finished his meal there sounded a honk and they left the house as their mother went with them to send them to the door and said
'Byee my sweeties and be careful as this is your first time outside the area.'

Rylee said 'Mom don't be afraid we are not children anymore who wants protection all the time. '

Ava said pulling his cheeks lightly 'Shut up Rylee. You are always running around. '

Rylee 'Hummph.' His cheeks puffing cutely.

The boy smiled and said 'Okay mom you don't worry Ethan and Oliver are also there.'

Ava said caressing his cheeks lovingly 'I know that's why i am filled with relief but a careful advice doesn't hurt. Right. '

As their mom said that Oliver and Ethan came to their side and said 'Hello Aunt. All good.'

Ava said patting their shoulder 'Hello to you too dear. Everthing is good. Now go go don't be late on your first day. Bye sweeties.'

They replied 'Bye mom.' 'Bye aunt. '

Then they went up to their car and sat as the boy said to everyone 'How much time it will take to reach college?'

Ethan said 'By Oliver driving speed till 9 am o'clock. '

The boy gave him his best glare and said 'I didn't asked you.' and reverted his face to show that he was damn pissed.

Ethan after seeing his face from rear mirror replied 'Are you still pissed at me for not waking you up. I am sorry V but I wasn't able to. '

The boy replied 'Hmmph. '

Rylee said while laughing 'Kevin said he is going to beat the hell out of you.'

Listening to this Oliver smiled and Ethan showed an amused expression.

'Really V you said that.'

'Yes. Any problem.' Kevin glared at him.

The boy was Kevin.

'No. Just asking. ' Ethan shook his head and said that but without a smile looking at him deeply through the mirror.

Kevin though He has always been like that. He is mostly expressionless but knows how to smile which is very beautiful. I have always find his smile gorgeous as it leaves you feeling with happiness. I don't know about others but it is the case with me.

Kevin starting the conversation with Oliver ignoring the deep stare thrown his way through mirror 'Oliver which courses you signed up for. '

Kevin asked as Oliver and Kevin has choosed business profession and Ethan choosed medical science and Rylee choosed media.

Oliver smiled and replied 'All first year courses as they are all interesting. '

Kevin smiled sweetly 'Really. That's great. Me too.'

Kevin asked him now because Oliver and Kevin didn't get the chance to bring it up as Oliver returned few weaks ago and there was so much to do regarding college admission. So Oliver has been very busy.

Ethan silently looked at Kevin but Kevin ignored him.

Kevin thought He too should feel how sad it is.

Rylee said, his eyes gliterring with mischeif 'Do you think we will get to play prank on others. I want to make so much memories.'

As he said that Ethan gave him a glance and he shrinked but Oliver said rescuing him from the fear of getting scolded 'I think not. You will get pranked on because you ll be the fresh meat for them.' At this statement everyone laughed but he just blushed. Rylee is sometimes too cute.

At 8:56 am o'clock Cypress Professional Courses University.

They parked their car and moved towards university.

Ethan grabbed Kevin's hand and pull him aside and said seriously 'I am sorry V I really wasn't able to wake you up as you slept so peacefully. Please stop being pissed at me you know I won't be able to stay composed if you keep being pissed at me.'

Kevin sighed and said 'Really An you know I hate being late the most.'

Ethan said 'Sorry V I ll not tease you like this from now on.'

Kevin smiled 'Please wake me up early from next time if you wake up first.'

Ethan pulled the corners of his mouth and said 'Okay.'

Kevin 'Lets go now. They will wonder where we went. '

Ethan said 'Hmm.' Agreeing with Kevin.
