I had never seen Eztli so pensive, somber even. Marco and I tried everything to cheer her up yet she spent the whole week crying in my guest room. She'd wake up and do work remotely and then go back to crying. We let her cry after a while, we stopped trying to cheer her up. She needed to let it all out. I told her she was crazy for moving so fast but I know her she'd never do something so drastic without thinking it over and she was so sure about Lewis... and now she looks defeated. Not to mention Marco looks like a sad puppy behind her constantly. He was a sweet guy, the safest option for Eztli, but now was not the time and he understood yet he let her cry on his shoulder for hours upon hours and he listened to her never taking his eyes off her. I felt for him... I felt for both of them.
Sofie: Hey Marco dinner is almost ready can you please call ezii to come sit? Marco: on it
A few minutes later Eztli walked in wearing the same set of pajamas she put on the first night she stayed with us. She hadn't even showered. After they ate Eztli got up to go back to bed but I was done with this!
Sofie: don't you dare Eztli Eztli: the fuck? Sofie: go shower now Eztli: what? Why? Sofie: because it's Thursday Eztli and you've been here since Saturday Eztli: so? I don't smell. Do i? Marco: you don't but i agree with Sofie maybe you should shower Eztli: wtf no Sofie: marco grab her
Marco grabbed Eztli without a second thought and took her to the bathroom as she fought him, Sofie followed. Marco finally put her down and Eztli tried to push past him to the door but Sofie closed it before she could leave.
Sofie: either you shower by yourself or I will stay here until you do it Marco: and I will leave Eztli: ughhhhh fine
2 hours later...
Eztli walked out in a towel and saw Marco & Sophie sitting on the bed waiting for her.
Sofie: see it wasn't so bad Marco: yeah only took you two hours Eztli: i finished showering within 30 minutes but then i just sat in the shower for the remainder Sofie: we figured we heard the crying
Eztli went back to the bathroom to change and yet she still found them sitting on her bed waiting for her.
Marco: I'm flying out tomorrow morning to prepare for the next race.. we won't see each other until the Monaco gp... Etzli: fuck Sofie: it's not even that far Eztli: no it's not that Marco: then what is it? Eztli: with my boss's last case getting settled which I was planning to quit after it I kind of... won't have a job anymore after the end of the month. I wanted to surprise Lewis and well now it's all for nothing Marco: you could move in with me
Sofie & Eztli looked at him as if he was crazy.
Marco: or not it's just a suggestion Etzli: I might just tell my boss nvm but I was so excited not to live with my parents anymore Sofie: come live with me then Eztli: sofie i can't afford to live with you Sofie: girl my parents pay for the place well they own the apartment and pay all my utilities so it's fine plus i get paid well for my modeling gigs. I can be your sugar momma

Eztli: Marco where in London will you be living just near the factory? Marco: yeah about 25-30 minutes away Eztli: well i could live with sofie for a bit and then move to london maybe find some job over there Sofie: that actually doesn't sound like a bad idea Marco: you honestly don't even have to work I can pay for us both I make more than enough and also like Sofie my parents own my apartment although I am buying it from them at the moment. Eztli: it's so funny how my two friends are literal nepo babies Marco: it sure helps Sofie: tell me about it but your work ethic is unbeatable Eztli Eztli: lolll whatever fifi Marco: fifi?? Eztli: I'm gonna miss him a lot Marco: but you have us Sofie: a friend and a even better friend
She winked at Eztli as she said that. Eztli looked at Marco who seemed oblivious. She smiled at him, he was there for her he came with her even after everything... he seemed different.
