"I don't deserve this!" The little boy said. Pushing away the plate of green peppers. He stuck out his tongue in disgust, glaring at his father.

"Come on kiddo!" His father said gently, a persuasive tone in his voice. "Its good for you."

The little boy only turned away and shook his head. His father sighed in response.

"Have it your way."

The little boy giggled.

The little boy and his father were heading to school, it was a breezy autumn morning, the sun shining down on them brightly. The little boy running ahead and his father walking at a steady pace behind him. Every now and then the little boy would jump into raked up piles of leaves, causing them to fly out everywhere.

These moments were the favorites of both the little boy and his father, where the world was quiet and it was just the two of them.

"Come on dad!" The little boy cried to his father, looking at him with a smile on his face. He ran back grabbing his fathers sleeve and pulling him along, sounds of laughter echoing through the streets.

As they drew closer to the school, the little boy ran forward and into the school, waving goodbye to his father and entering.

The little boy let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding. He smiled and ran into the school.

As he took a seat in the classroom, he felt eyes on him. He felt worried, self-conscious even. He glanced around to see his classmates staring at him. The little boy brushed it off, he was new- of course they were curious about the new student.

He fiddled with his fingers and stared down at the desk.

As the school day moved on, he had regular small talk with other students. It was quite a successful day.

He ran out of the school the moment he had a chance, searching for the familiar blond and gray hair that he adored.

The little boy catapulted into his fathers arms. Idle chatter results, the two chatter like a flurry of birds as the little boy tells his father about his day. Although not disclosing the nervousness he had felt.

The two headed home, walking in comfortable silence.

Halfway into the school year has arrived. The sky was cloudy, blocking the view of the sun. The little boy walked with his father, in silence. Autumn had long passed and the trees were blooming. Petals and flowers resting on the ground. Every now and then the little boy would step on one.

The father and son walked at the same pace. The little boy looked down at the road before him. Not sparing his father a glance. As they arrived at the school, the boy seemed to sigh and stay back slightly. Loathe to enter the building.

His father pushed him forward, patting his back with a comforting smile. The little boy glanced at him before smiling and entering the building.

The father looked at his son's back as he entered the building. A parental smile on his face.

The Father walked to the school. Planning to pick up his happy little boy. He sees the familiar light brown hair in the courtyard and walks up to his son. A happy smile on his face.

The little boy sees his father walking up to him, he walks past him and towards their road. He had a quiet look to him as he glanced at his father, motioning for him to follow him back home. The little boy looked tired, and had red circles around his eyes. Looking down at the ground.

His father followed after him, worried, and planning to ask him what's happening once they arrive home. He walked next to the little boy, making his demeanor into a calm one. Or at least trying to.
